What a mess this 10.1" system has turned out to be.
It seems hardware is becoming an issue as well or some serious kernel corruption.
I'll be curious to see if any legal troubles ever result from this. This system is so riddled with bugs that it renders basic safety features useless.

Officer: "Why did you back over that child, the screen is huge, you should have seen them!"
Me: "Well there's a bug in the software... when I use the remote start, the screen doesn't work, so I couldn't see them."
Officer: "But it's a brand new car!? The backup camera law went into effect in 2018."
Me: "yep"

Obviously a bit dramatic, but it could happen. And then what?

Then the family will sue you and Stellantis and you will still get a ticket and charged with some crime because you didn't use your mirrors, they will say.

You're not wrong, but they literally passed the law because mirrors and common sense were not enough. I hope it never comes to a situation like this just to get them to fix the bugs.

IDK, 17.99 has been pretty good for me. Its definitely passable for the last year and a half of my lease. Then, I'm done with FCA. Shame, they make great looking vehicles, But I now understand why they have a bad rep.
I agree it has been mediocre OK. I have to reboot at least 2 tiems a week because of no 4G signal (reboot fixes it so who is rthe cause? LOL)
Song Start does not work anymore (it did when I initially 17.99) it stoppedd a couple weeks after I went to 17.99 and I am not factory resetting this pig system anymore, reboot and that is it.

Now I have what I call BOGUS warnings sent to my mopar app. Crap is ddriving me nuts and am losing my patience with it. For 55k I should have worry free driving and all options work flawlessly.
Is that too much to ask Dodge?

Maybe someone has answered this before... Is there an official way to report bugs on this system?

We can keep complaining on this thread until it's 180 pages long, but is anyone who actually matters or can make a difference hearing us?

They have all tried the official channels until they were blue in the face and nothing has happened to fix them.

@DodgeCares as vacated this forum because they (seeminlgy) were sick of being told their product is junk and being pressed for answers and updates.

maybe Dodge should have died back in 2008 when cerberus owned them same thing with GM.
Federal idiots bailed them out with our money and this is what we get. sub par vehicles for big bucks.

I have owned all, gm, Ford, Nissan. Toyota in last 10 years...none are as horrible as dodge. 1st, and last for me.

I attempted to report bugs to Uconnect and was told that since my model year was already done they were not accepting feedback or bug reports anymore but they could take information for model year 2022/2023 vehicles. It’s complete incompetence

Hi everyone,
Sorry to hear of your concerns with your UConnect systems. Unfortunately, at this time we do not have a date available to share for the next update. If you'd like to send us a PM with your VIN and additional details on your concerns, we'd be happy to look into them for you and provide further assistance alongside dealer visits.

I encourage all 153 participants of this thread to PM, even if you already have. I submitted feedback to the Chrysler Customer Care website yesterday and linked this thread. Lets keep the pressure on!

Yeah, like that'll work.....

ATTENTION~~~

DO NOT wipe your Uconnect screen while the system is on. It could render the touch screen inoperative like it did to me TWICE~
Rebooting the system does not help. You have to leave the vehicle off overnight or many hours for the system to start working again.

Unreal that static electricity can do this with todays technology. Imagine if your cellphone would stop working cause you wiped the screen with a staticy cloth?
Cheap shit at premium prices is Dodge's method

Never have had this experience. Maybe because I have a screen protector?

I have not had this happen either. been 6 months now and I wipe my screen all the time. I keep a microfiber cloth in the drivers door just to wipe the screen.

I have left my factory screen protector on though. wonder if that has anything to do with it?
