I have a 21 RT with the Harmon system. I got a usb from Mopar Canada to update my uconnect in the mail today. Unfortunately after 4 attempts, the USB software is not compatible with my uconnect system. FmL

Two things, the base model RT Sub puts out way better base that the HK system, although the HK is crisper in other areas.

Here's a list of my uconnect related qnd possible unrelated issues...

1. Reboots randomly.
2.Freezes and let's out a got awful screech until it reboots.
3. Key fobs allow me to open the locked trunk, but then the alarm goes off.
4. The system randomly switches between the imperial and metric systems. Great for getting speeding tickets in Canada.
5. Front drivers assistance sensors randomly go all red for dozens of traffic lights in a row. That's always fun.
6. Dyno often doesn't function.
There's more but the USB has me frustrated...

Oh the tires don't last long...but that may be my driving. 🤣

Oh the usb was to update the uconnect, so I can get updates to the uconnect apparently. 🤣

I have none of these issues.. except the no data to my uconnect app now (although remote commands work)... the tire comment caught my attention, not sure what yours had but mine had the ecopia 422 bridgestones and they might as well be the worst tire ever made. just took mine off at 20k and replaced with firestone destination LE3's and so far they are a big improvement in general... guess it depends on where you live and what you need but the FS pretty much outperformed most competitors or at least equal in all the test results I read.

From what the paperwork implied it wasn't all durangos who would get the usb, only certain ones. I've had mine almost 14 months now, so maybe it's early production vehicles?

Mine and wife's Samsung S21 5G keeps disconnecting regularly or doesn't connect at all; it later one happens never reconnects without turning off car. Phones are up to date and rebooted and repaired. No help. Really annoying. Anyone who is truly happy with UC5 Android auto functionality? I don't really see difference in behavior regardless where phone is located inside car.

Unfortunately, "None" is greyed out on mine. I checked both profiles, and it was the same in each one.

I bet it only appears when a 3rd profile is there, requiring each seat position to be paired to a profile.

The Ecopias are useless in the light snow we got recently.

Next season I’ll probably get a set of takeoff wheels and mount winter tires to them.

They said that OTA was broken in the versions before R17.98. Mine had R14 on it (delivered in June) but they never mailed me a usb update so I have no idea what the criteria was for the update.

The USB was supposedly sent out to Durango owners who's radio version was at R17.89 or below. Newer software versions are capable of receiving OTA updates. If your software is below .89 and you did not get a USB, the file was posted here a few time, so you can download and install yourself....

As far as I know you cannot disable the over the air. The option you see is for wireless over the air but that isn’t being used yet and the current over the air updates use the cellular modem built in to the vehicle.

I checked today and my software Version is still R17.98

I think turning off the OTA updates in settings keeps the R17.99 from being installed.

Yeah I did that on the first radio and the new radio they replaced it with. Stuck at 17.89 waiting on OTA that will likely never come. 😂

Question - is there no way to disable profiles? My wife and I use the memory seats, but I really hate you seem to have to tie a profile to it as profile switching takes like 1-2 minutes, its crazy slow. I want to just have the memory function for the seats/wheel/mirrors, but keep the same profile.

I tried deleting her profile but it just created a new Driver1 profile as soon as you hit button #2. You also can't choose "none" under the memory seat, and you can't seem to tie the same profile to both memory seat numbers either.

Any ideas? This drive anyone else crazy?

Nope. Read the last 10 pages or so. We all begged for multiple profiles but now realize that it absolutely sucks... There is no way to turn them off.

Bummer, I did read through but was hoping something new had been discovered. Profiles would be fine with me if they loaded in a reasonable amount of time, but as it stands its very annoying.

To be fair, multiple profiles as a feature is an excellent idea. It’s the implementation that’s the problem.

A bug that still persists in .99

Every so often when cycling through my presets, it only cycles through 12 then back to one. I have 24 presets (now you can have 36) so what to do. You will see a favorite (when on that channel) not highlight. That is the issue. Rebooting the unit does not fix it either. You need to simply re-save that channel in that slot. Today, preset #10 was causing the issue until I re-saved it.
In the past it has been preset 8, preset 3 etc but never a preset over 12.

And I never got any usb.

You are probably like me and your VIN is not part of the campaign, even though we have the same problem. Bunch of idiots running the show. People with an older build have the current update is unreal.

Lol you and me both...but I'm a cave man so I don't use all the fancy stuff....I'm taking to dealer for the updates...let them sort out any bugs...
