I heard from Uconnect again.. they are pushing OTA again but claim they are seeing data from my vehicle. My app is not displaying fresh data and says last update was 3 months ago. It’s possible that all of my issues are because nothing is updating OTA including the apps themselves which could be bugged. Maybe someone will make a replacement system with SRT pages someday and I can ditch this nonsense.
i feel you here... my app data hasn't updated in a month... it just says "vehicle data not updated in over a week" at the top. XM Guardian did call me back and swear it's a known issue that's being worked on... they said it has nothing to do with the software version I'm running but who knows. mine was working fine for a year, on the old SW i'm running which is 14.6 whatever version that came with the car...

that being said, I think I'm going to give it a shot and install the SW update .89 that is here in this thread, and hope for the best... maybe it will help moving forward

can someone please just provide the correct full instructions so I don't make a mess of this update? i've heard things like TSB and drain the power and now I'm not sure what the actual steps are, to installing this update...

or someone that did it correctly, please let me know exactly how you did it? that would be really helpful.

btw, for what it's worth, I did try the ECU reset by disconnecting the negative battery terminal as somewhere someone told me that would fix the Uconnect box error and while I haven't seen that error again, it did nothing to fix the data issue....

Check out post #1182. Its the Canadian version but same process.
 
I just went to the dealer and had mine 2021 Hellcat updated to 17.89. They couldn’t update it to anything newer. My HVAC display changed to a temperature bar that would only allow an on screen change to the temperature, but once I turned the car off and on that was gone and it was back to the degree display and the physical buttons were working again.

I got home (after a 30 minute) drive, connected to my Wi-Fi for 15 minutes expecting to see another update come through and there was nothing. I called SiriusXM guardian and they transferred me to Stellantis support. They said my software was current (r17.89) and there was nothing newer. They also didn’t know about the car being able to update over Wi-Fi and insisted it was done through “towers” only. So much for them giving any accurate information.

Is this just something (the .98 or .99 update) will appear over time, or is there a special ritual I am supposed to do in order for it to find and download the update?
 
The over the air (OTA) update is .99 and you will get it. It also updates over the Durango's 4G cellular and you do not need to subscribe to any mobile services either. Sit tight and you will get .99 in a week or two.
 
So today the Durango started reporting data out of the blue, to the Uconnect app. I didn’t have a chance to update the software yet so it had nothing to do with that.

On a side note the remote unlock came in handy as I had tongues it for the first time ever , in a real situation , and it worked like a champ, quickly.

btw, since that one update yesterday, the data has failed to update again... it says updated 22 hours ago on the top ... maybe I got a teaser just to keep me happy LOL...

my charger unconnect 4 never goes past a few hours that it's not updated... this is ridiculous, how can the newer updated 5 not work when the 4 was perfect lol... guess I'm going to do the SW update this week maybe it will actually help

I checked my app just now and it updated 4 hours ago! It hadn’t updated in over a month. The vehicle health report still says “3 months ago” though. Still no over the air updates but my WiFi hotspot seems to be working occasionally instead of never now. Next appointment with the dealership is coming up so maybe they have something figured out.

keep us posted after dealer visit. I think I'm going to update the SW finally this weekend. maybe they got the "data push" working for a minute lol.. sounds like we got a shot shot deal where it worked once.... they give us false hope lol....

it's just funny to me that my uconnect 4 in my chargers all work perfectly but the UC5 still has issues... granted 4 doesn't have wireless car play etc but I prefer a wire and a working system lol. uc4 is just about perfect, never had an issue in any of my 5 scat packs.
