I was talking to someone in the FB Durango forum about the pop up uconnect box error and I told them they changed my telemetrics box and it didn’t fix the issue. She said that they originally told her it was just an update but this time they said it was the actual antenna, this is a copy of her receipt…

Last evening when I came home from store, I noticed when I got out of the DD the radio was still playing. I looked in at the screen and it had a message about an Uconnect update being done that will take about five minutes. So I got back in and waited, satellite radio cut out during update, about 5-10 minutes later it finished. No idea what this update was for, the overall version number is the same as before.

I got that update after I loaded the unofficial SW. I still got the error pop up every day for a month. But the last 2 mos, no popup. Very strange. My unit been very good the last 2 mos. Not sure why, but I am not complaining.

Lucky!!! I’m down to driving just a few days a week at most and all I see is that stupid pop up. It will be out of warranty next summer already and Dodge clearly isn’t fixing or even trying to fix anything 😡

Speaking of weather, when it does work, I wish the radar would update a little faster than it does or at least show last few minutes of storm movement, sometime time it takes 10 minutes to determine if I am heading into or out of the storm. ⛈

I hate that I cannot zoom in on the weather map like you can on UC4 systems.
Tom tom was a terrible service that Dodge got in bed with.

Mine worked twice in 2 years, YAY it still sucks and every time I try it and it doesn't work a string of obscenities follows in reference to the wonderful FUconnect team

Just found this little wierd UC5 action.

If I remote start the Durango with the keyfob, (assume it is 90 degrees out) the ventilated driver's seat turns on to the low setting. When I get in and press the start button, the ventilate seat setting is still set to low.

if I remote start the Durango with the Dodge app, (assume it is 90 degrees out) the ventilated driver's seat turns on to the high setting. When I get in and press the start button, the ventilate seat setting turns to low.

Any one know if a 2023 radio will install / work in a 2021? We are not getting any more updates it seems and if they haven’t cared at all the past 2+ years I don’t see them caring in the future. Reading that 2023 guys are getting T25.48.

It should work and if you check, it's part number problem shows superceding our part number.

I am still waiting for what I was promised and I even needed to sign an NDA

I'm sure any '21-23 radio will fit since they are all the FU5. I've wondered why noone that has the horrible '21 version hasn't already posted that they installed a '22 or '23.

The 21, 21-22 model years have the same part number.
23 model year is it's own part number.

Yeah zero chance I would buy an EV from them. Imagine the hellscape that would be.

Exactly, I won't even ride in a battery powered turd, let alone buy one (from anyone for that matter). If they can't get a radio to work how are they going to program an entire vehicle? Then look at the problems with Tesla, fires, locking people out, second mortgage on your house to pay for new batteries......suck it EV builders is my final answer.

IT didn't fit anything after the update...mine it's worse. I have noticed maybe Im wrong, I put a Heat windshield protector and there is an increase of times popping the error out after starting the Durango almost every day. Now I think is something with the antenna...just a guess. My warranty expires in December and Im going to take it to the dealer before that..
