I gave it a shot real quick before I left to work this morning. Just stayed stuck on the wifi, the words are pushed so far out I couldn't tell if it said connected or connecting lol! Oh well. Mine hasn't been too problematic thankfully so I can wait.
 
went to the dealer today.... asked them about the update and lack of functions (the multi profile one specifically) they told me i had already received the OTA update.... ill have to go back out to the DD and get the version number, this is what the put on my WO.....

that was the 'reason' when we got the notifications on the mopar app, the notice went away, cause our vehicles were updated, and the notice no longer applied

I don't believe that. I had the recall disappear and my software version is still the same. The rep from uconnect who called me last Thursday and told me there was a recall mentioned I'd have to go to the dealer for this update. That it wasn't over the air. Tried contacting DodgeCares again and no response.
 
Mine is a late build and I can use more than one profile. Different version than the other gentleman. For shits and giggles I checked Uconnect today for an update and says my VIN is current.
 
I wonder if the late built that can have the update like @ITGuy11 can pull their VIN in the uconnect update website and it actually show an update available?
I tried and it says no update available on the Uconnect website.
 
so the wife is saying her apple carplay is hit and miss. sometimes when it doesn't work first thing it will suddenly start working right before she gets to her job, which only takes her about 12 minutes to get there

otherwise i think she's fine with satellite. but i know if she is required to travel at some point she will want to use the ios map instead of the durango's.

Wireless? Or plugged in? Maybe go wired for trips.

i'll try it wired. is there a usbc for iphones or do i just stick with regular usb?
 
Either should work, but you’ll want to first delete the entry for the iPhone in Uconnect and make sure Uconnect is also deleted from both Bluetooth and CarPlay on the iPhone itself. Then connect via USB.
It's funny I never went through the bluetooth setup...it just seemed to recognize both of our phones. Yes both BT were on but I don't recall doing anything with the phones
 
So the recall Y25 seems to be firmware update related. The recall poped on mopar for few of us, but wen't away. It also seems to be gone on techautority. But some folks here got the update on the uconnect5 with a new firmware. So we are back to square one I guess? No update for the early built, no date and also no info.
 
We will be getting new radios this December, so I heard~ :ROFLMAO:

I posted a while back that there was a chance it is a hardware issue but I never pursued it since what runs on the 10.1'" could be run on and Android based phone 7 years ago.
The only thing I can think of there is defective or not enough NVRAM.
Seriously?? Is Dodge replacing radios?
 
They will have to if they cant figure out how to get the current SW from the newer builds on the older units.
They will not have to. What will happen is you will get a notice about your radio stating the issue and that there is no software fix available.
if you want them to replace radios then a lawsuit needs to be initiated.
