Silly question - does the part number end with AA or AB? Looks like it originally was AA, the the B stamped over it. I checked all the usual on-line Mopar parts places, and they all have AA listed, but I can't find AB listed anywhere. If it is AB, I guess I'll have to talk to the dealer.

It definitely has a B stamped over the original A, so it's AB.

Thanks! I wonder if that cover is new-for-14 and that's why the parts places don't list it yet. I guess I'll have to give the dealer a call. My hitch arrived today, so the cover is the last piece I need.

Thanks for the info Boomer! Is the DiabloSport catch can Part# C-1060 or C-1000? C-1060 looks like it's for the 6.4L and the C-1000 is for the 5.7L...

Hey Boomer, can you add a section for suspension?

Great thread boomer!
Done - just need someone to get me part#'s links for the springs/struts. Have been hesitating putting those on as I was unsure if they made ones specifically for the D, or everyone was still using kits for the JGC

update on the strut tower brace. After an extensive online search, it appears the Arrington brace is still our only option. I am beginning to wonder if Arrington only made a limited run, as the eBay vendor has now sold all 10 he had available, and has not relisted more. I watched the "1 available" icon on his ad just a couple of days too long. I'll bet someone here on this or another Durango forum grabbed it, despite the high price. Anyway, I went to Arrington's online store, ShopHEMI.com, and they don't list it for sale either! Are they truly all gone? Somebody with the tools and tech savvy should spend some time making one of these for our trucks and advertise on the forums. I'll bet they could get a group order of 20-30 pretty easily right off the bat if the price was right. Just sayin'...

I bought #10, and they had to cancel my order saying they are no longer made. I think these are custom made or modded to order..

Blackops is working on one, no idea when it will be ready. If enough Durango folks emailed him with interest, he would get working faster. They are worried about not being able to sell them.

Too bad that the last one available turned out to be a ghost... OK everyone who has commented on strut tower braces in this forum, start contacting Black Ops and let them know we want to give them some business. Not sure how it works, but if they knew we had x number of committed DD owners ready to buy, it would help. They might be convinced to go for it if they knew their development costs were already covered with pre-orders.

A search online and of this forum's membership did not turn up Black Ops in relation to anything other than the Call of Duty game. Is it a website or individual, and how do we contact? I'm going to start a new thread on Strut Tower Bars specifically so we can get some traffic on it to show a potential manufacturer that they could likely recoup development costs just with an initial group buy if the Admin on the site is willing to arrange it. How can we get this done? I'd love one that will allow me to keep my custom painted engine cover. Having options for powder coating in different colors would be nice, but I can always paint mine.

OK, got in too big of a hurry. Found it. BLACK OPS Auto Works. Contact them and let them know we want this!

I was hoping the Black ops one would be done by now

Yeah, I wonder if they have lost interest? I emailed them and asked for this. I told them there was a lot of discussion on the forums about a lack of a vendor for this. Everyone interested in a Strut Tower Brace for your Gen 3 DD, go to BLACK OPS Auto Works, hit the "contact us" tab and let them know please.

They have plenty that want this in the 11-14 Jeep crowd to cover ours as well

I had picked up one of the last Arringtons and was told they were built in small batches at a time. So if Arrington isn't available check with Steve White Motors in NC as they are a distributorship. That's why I Bit The Bullit and got one while I could. They should be available now or soon.

So honest question, was it worth $500 in performance?
