rdskinsfan25 - you bring up a good point about causing an accident. A complaint I have is the small icons/buttons. I have to take my eyes off the road to make sure I press the correct button. If the buttons were bigger it might be less distracting. Or a means to control the buttons without removing your hands from the steering wheel.
Talk about distracted driving!

That’s a whole other issue I have. But more importantly for me is tv have this LOS infotainment to stay working. I’ve had nothing but issues with EVERY warranty replacement. I believe I’m on like new to my Durango radios in the 4-5 maybe 6! Also, I posted the other comment but for some reason it signed me up as new instead of using my account.

Mine has been playing the screw Carplay game, it randomly just disconnects then maybe reconnects a minute later, and maybe does it 3+ times over the course of 5 minutes. My phone is in a cradle and doesn't move, this happens even when sitting in my car at work. 🖕 this is for the UTURD team.

I am downgrading my Sirius account to streaming only. The Sirius app for Android Auto is very acceptable and will only get better. I will also get the weather for AA when it comes out. I do not need the 4G internet service from ATT either since it will all be my phone. Basically, Dodge, ATT and Sirius lost HUNDREDS of $$$ from me

The Uconnect 5 Team ruined any chances of the VR to work correctly or even become more usable as they now limit SMS responses to predetermined choices.
Their predetermined responses are not fitting and you need to scroll (while driving) to choose one that MAY be applicable. Dangerous.

I tried sending an SMS to my woman cause I wanted to spank her the other night. WTF it made me send, Hello. LOL

Just think about that shoddy decision on their part....

Get in the car, start it up and the Carplay symbol shows up on the UTURD and the phone, press Carplay button on the UTURD screen and it's frigging blank. nada, zip, all gone into outer space. The phone worked through the radio system but you had to control it direct from the phone. Deleted the phone from the car, deleted the car from the phone and it worked fine without even adding it again.

Congrats UTURD team, you are special. 💩🤡

When this happens I can normally get it back by going to the Home icon and back to CarPlay a few times. Pretty rare on T27.46 but it happened all the time on R17.9x

That's one of the things I tried, also swearing loudly at it for several minutes didn't make it work either I had to go check but I'm on T27.46. First time it's happened, just another issue to add to hate the Uturd team even more.

Bummer. I have had to reboot this version a few times for strange things like that but it’s not daily anymore at least. Yesterday my phone started just disconnecting every 5 minutes and reconnecting during a phone call. 🤦‍♂️

Ya my phone does that regularly and it's annoying AF too, I can be sitting still with the phone in the cradle with an Apple cable and it still does it, so Dodge/Apple can't say it's the cable. It's the crap radio/software. I think we should all get to punch each Uturd employee at least twice for this shit.

If only Sony would make a replacement.

They replaced the antennae and wire harness.
antennae module (68323160-AA)
antennae cable (68487082-AC)

I was also getting it nonstop every day but it’s been gone since the dealership version. They had previously replaced my radio, TBM and tried “updates” but this seems to have done the trick.

Bullshit because I can tell they didn't even try so much as driving it or resetting the system (not like I hadn't tried that already but still). Really would like to see the same repair done but the dealer wasn't helpful before at all and now that im out of the 3 years they d probably charge me for it.

Ask for goodwill antenna replacement since it was a known problem with its own TSB before your 3 yr 36 went out. Especially if you have service record history saying you want it addressed.

I would think if you reported it before and there is a TSB then it would be covered. It’s worth calling and asking I think.
