Installed my Hooker Blackheart cat back this past Saturday.

So far I've only put about 100 miles on it but I like the way it sounds. I can actually hear my Durango start up from inside the house now instead of looking out the window to see if it was running. LoL. The install was pretty straight forward but it definitely would have been easier if I had a vehicle lift and an extra person to help with the install and adjustment of the system.

Eventually but I'll be trying to hit tens with the stroker first. I have every naturally aspirated supporting mod to run a cam like that. It'll be big enough too work with a lot of boost just fine. Also be turbo not supercharged but as far as the cam that probably doesn't matter.
It matters some - but it really depends on what turbo(s) you are going with and tuning as to how much of an impact it can have. Sometimes you'll see a wider LSA and shorter exhaust duration on aggressive turbo cams to get higher exhaust velocities, but there is no such thing as an "ideal" cam for all turbo applications.

Unless you're bracket racing to pay rent, it's probably not worth the skull sweat to worry about it too much.

Yeah, A good came can really wake up an engine. I have 95% of the time used off-the-shelf specific cams (i.e., natural aspirated or nitrous grinds) from Crane and Comps. Helped plenty of other friends install other types of cams and manufactures...

FYI I do have a custom ground 600+ lift cam in my little 5.0 coupe and the developer went to great lengths to get the volumetric efficiency (VE) to perfection... compression, heads (Canfields Stage 2), peak RPM, gears and even altitude I am living in to get the best bang out of her. It's a NA designed cam with a little extra lobe separation for that single shot of N2O. LOL

I picked up my Hemi Orange w Tow N Go a week ago, I was surprised how loud the exhaust was (in a good way). You couldn't hear it from inside your house before doing the cat-back replace? I have to 'try' to be quiet getting around my neighborhood.

Mine is just an R/T, It didn't have the Tow N Go option on it. I was used to the carven progressive that I had on my 17 Ram 1500 and you could hear the HEMI rumble when it started up at idle. Maybe I was just used to that sound but it's been fixed now with the Blackheart system. 😁 I'll upload a sound clip when I get a chance.

To the motor any ways..Ready to go back in!

Back together again! She started up yesterday with no issues. Was in a hurry so I didn't drive it, and I didn't have other phone I use for audio ready. My phone mic sucks. Will get a vid In a little bit. Gonna wake up the neighborhood😁 and a preview of my next project for her...
