What did you do to your Durango today?

Here's a thread that I see on a lot of car forums that is pretty fun to look through.

So, what did you do today? It can be anything from a fresh wash to ordering new parts!

Ran a 5.72 0-60 after I got my tune back from sean at hemifever. This is with 91 octane and 2000 feet above sea level. Pretty happy with it.

Finally got a chance to do this! This is from stop, since I have no practice with the drag tree. Was a 10th of a sec of my quickest 1/8 mile time too.
Forgot to turn off the traction control also.

Though it wasnt today or even yesterday...

I installed Eibach lowering springs, installed the Powerstop drilled and slotted brake kit, painted my calipers red and had brand new Nitto NT420V 265/50r20 tires wrapped around 20in Black Rhino Faro rims put on.

Will post some pics when I finally wash it.

Installed a Strut Tower Brace. Wait! it's a Jeep Grand Cherokee and not a Durango Dammit! Same platform though. Brace works/fits on both platforms WK2/WD.

Where did you get that from?
Got an oil change and was told that the pulsation in my brakes was from “rotor rust” and that I need to replace all 4 rotors. They also suggest new pads of course - $1000 at the local stealership.

I declined for a 2nd opinion elsewhere and/or DIY.

2019RT with 38,200 miles. Bought new in January of 2019.

DIY is pretty easy with the right tools. I bought this kit, $405 shipped from summit racing.

It's a zl1 addons front splitter. Pretty decent price and great quality! And yes, the running boards flow with the body lines pretty good!

The front splitter and the running boards make it look lower to the ground with the 22s. Looks nice!

I wonder why your gap seems smaller than mine? I have 305 40 22. How many inches from top wheel to bottom fender, both front and rears? Can u measure pls?
Could be the age and use of the stock springs.

Then again it could be slight differences in the gen3 vs gen4 design.
I ordered some Kooks headers and catted connecting pipes :D

From where and how much?

Lmperformance.com $1720 with a 5% coupon.

They're backordered so it will probably be a couple months. Give me time to research more and more on the self install, and have the tune from Hemifever ready.

Already feels like a beast. Can't wait to see how she feels after this add on...

Did you get any extras like the header bolts, header gaskets or O2 sensor extensions?

All included.
Could I bother you for the part number please? Thanks!

The weekly Hemi therapy session. 30 min ride on the highway + some on ramp WOT runs sprinkled in. Working from home except for 5-6 days per month means I don't really have a need to drive much. Also, I have a Ford F-150 lease that's up in March so I'd rather put the miles and wear & tear on that vehicle before I turn it in (12000+ miles left on the allowance and three months to turn it in - LOL not going to reach the mileage but oh well).
Always fun to open her up every once in a while.

Well, here's what a 2015 R/T looks like with eibach springs on all mopar standard shocks. I replaced the load levelers with standard mopars. I didn't install the springs till I had the shocks so I dont know what the ride height of the rear would have been. The front wheels needed alignment but are in spec without adjustable control arms. The rear stayed in spec too.

I will say though the ride is very smooth, even accelerating to 110 with a bunch of crap in the back and 3 other passengers. So the rear was lower on the road trip. Steering is very responsive and just sticks to the road. Was on a lot of curvy mountain roads.

Looks great. I have Eibach springs in the garage waiting for the standard mopar rear shocks to be delivered. Interesting about not needing rear control arms for camber correction, seems to be a 50/50 chance you will need them (I’ve asked a lot of Eibach users). I’d be happy to get SRT spec alignment without needing control arms. Did I mention your Durango looks great!

Thanks! I gonna upgrade to a darker tint eventually too. But my next project is the headers install. Just got the Kooks headers yesterday. The cat connectors will be here Monday😃
