Download file
Format USB stick NTFS
Put the full zipped file on usb
turn on the truck to run position(doesnt need to be running)
Let the update load, will take a lonnnngggg time.
Its that easy.
@Vice-White , maybe the issue is you updated the maps already? Try downloading the smaller older update from the ram forum, try loading that 1st, then the latest we have.

Meh it is either this works as is or I simply don't update. I hate Stellantis right now for other reasons as well. Their programming is garbage and so are they.

Exactly what I did↑

0%-40% took about 5 minutes
Sat on 40% for maybe 15 minutes
Quickly got to about 53% and sat for maybe another 10 minutes
Somewhere in that 10 minutes the screen, cluster, radio, and interior lighting shut off - panic set in and I hit the start button and everything came back on - power saving maybe?
Got to about 95% and then what appeared to be a reboot of the android system - black screen with fine font in the middle
After about 5 minutes of several screen flickers the system rebooted and came up
Took a bit for Sirrius and other stuff to load.

I did the software update from 17.98 to 26.17. The update was successful as you described above with the length of time to update. However, after the update I no longer have the climate temperature control in degrees in the upper left and right of the screen. Just shows a blue/red bar on the left side and nothing on the right side. Has anyone else experienced this issue?

Try holding the power off and turn on on again for a reset. Mine did the same thing. I can't remember if that's what did it or if it was a factory reset. Factory reset helped with other issues I had such as NAV not knowing my location and was going all over the place.

I have a 22 Durango RT plus TNG. Ordered and purchased August 2022. The weather app has never worked. We have a case with uconnect but no solution as of yet. I have a couple of questions. Has anyone had luck with fixing the weather app? If so, what did you do? All I get is the spinning circle. (Unable to connect. Try again later) message. Do you think this update would fix the weather app? Also, would updating with this method do anything to void the warranty? Thank you. You guys are a wealth of information.

It fixed itself after sitting for about 1 hour. Nav maps has a very dark screen now. Not sure I remember it being that way before.

My weather app seems to work on the new version...though I think it worked on R17.99 in my 21.

Well I got through the update. Freaking painful!!!!!!! I drove and parked at 40 percent. Took another 30 minutes. Went from 40 to 50,52,53,65,69, 80 reboot to android screen finalizing to 100 percent. An easy hour for all of this to get done.

What I see now that is different is:
Gray Favorites Button Bar. Looks out place to me I want black back since the favorite icons pop.
No more helmets on my little people. I tried both global themes and my profile theme.
Dark Nav map ONLY. No way to change it to light Nav app. I hate the dark Nav.
I had a Trailer Option in settings that would crash when I tried to open it. It eventually went away.
Nav map images look better BUT >>> Map verion reverted to 12/21 even though I had the 9/22 version already loaded. This means you still need the Nav Map update from Stellantis navshop weebsite.

I am hoping the system continues to load overnight so I get my helmet people back and get rid of the gray button bar.
I will conintinue to test but here is a bug. Change your theme by tapping the radio button and a big gray screen pops up with no text. X out of the gray screen then do it again and you will see it should have been a long thin gray bar with text stating "saved to xxxx profile."

I also have that grey pop up box. Thought maybe a reset would clear that up 😬 the market app also doesn’t load for me but I saw that Dodge killed off the market so I’m guessing a future update will remove it. S27.xx was latest I saw so I would guess we should see improvements once we get our hands on those. Will double check but I’m almost certain my helmets were showing up last I looked.

The no Helmets on the climate icons is a deal breaker for me...lol......Let us know if it reverts back...Could anyone who has done this update on an SRT let me know if you have the helmets?

I had helmets last night. Disappeared after switching themes back and forth.

I kinda like the grey. 🤷‍♂️
