It appears different than it was before but the pages are there (after the last updates this was missing for a long time until it restored later on so I’ll wait and see what happens long term)

edit: everything is SRT branded, I have a feeling they are using the same update package for everything.

I can confirm I have the Non-SRT performance pages. Mine appear to be the same watered down T&G pages as before. The difference is now they load almost instantly.

I also got the update done on my 2021 TNG. Both the connect and the nag pages. What was weird was after I had done the update some apps were missing like the weather app. After I drove it to dinner and came back the weather app was there.

I recorded the process (most of it after I filled my phone 😂) and timed

i believe they are downloading apps/updating them separately from the OS itself.

Wow I am the only one who can't get this stupid update to work. Failed again but this time at 53 percent but with same OS error of 5 which is read/write permission issue.

here is what I did.

1st try while driving
128 gig USB partitioned 32 gig formatted fat32
Failed at 50 percent with error 5

2nd try while driving
32 gig USB stick formatted NTFS
Failed at 53 percent with error 5

3rd try(later today)
32 gig drive formatted extfat
factory reset system before attempting update


Not sure if driving is causing my issue or I have too much shit saved on the system or I keep using bad USB sticks.

Don't drive while doing the update. Keep car in run not on. Keep keys in vehicle. The USB stick needs to be in NTFS. Make sure it is a quality brand USB stick.

I’ve always done the update parked with acc power on. Though I believe once it starts updating the car can be off and it will finish.
I checked my recording and it looks like 53% took ~5 minutes before moving to 54% and then just 2 minutes before rebooting to finish the update. It’s definitely very close to the end of the process. 😞

The first attempt on my wifes GCL ended with an error and code 5 like you had. I immediately started it again, and the second it took. I had the car running in Park the whole time. I still havent had time to do the DDSRT yet...

We surely can't expect Uconnect to get it right, I mean these are all the same systems but I think they did not take into consideration for storage.
I just got a call my wife's 6k mile 2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee is make a nasty noise from the passenger rear as well as when brakes are applied.
1st a failed leather dashboard now this.

No the map update took 30 minutes or so and I did it while driving home and it worked without issue.
