Anyone seen this? Any resolve for the issue? I just got the message on Sunday and it has since went away, but just weird it flashed up and shut off the auto stop/start system in the V6.
TIA
Scott
Here's what I had to deal with on a customer car 2019 Dodge Durango that came in with the "service S/S sytem"There are so many posts lacking that 'I replaced the aux battery, it didn't go away immediately but then after driving it a few days it did!' I am digging around to find. I've heard the latter, but the threads tend to just drop off with no resolution after a couple suggestions and no posted 'this was my fix'.
I'm at the 'replaced my battery but still have the light, sure hope I don't have to take it to the dealer' phase myself.
My Stop Start service light came on about 6 months ago so I changed the auxiliary battery but that never cleared the light. Well I finally took it into the dealer to get it looked at. Reason being I will be selling the car soon and didn't want an active warning light on it. Dealer fixed it in about 30 min. The PCM was still showing that the aux battery was only at 16%. They had to flash the PCM to get it to recognize the new battery. Additionally they told me that they did a software update specifically for this issue. The software update is also supposed to improve the performance of the stop start system. There are so many posts lacking that 'I replaced the aux battery, it didn't go away immediately but then after driving it a few days it did!'
