This topic has come up every now and then but I think the answer is a moving target.

What's the source these days for a decent service manual? The only thing I can find is a subscription service paid per month per vehicle through either stellantisiop.com or through ALLDATA DIY | ALLDATA which is also a subscription, although their rates for DIY folks are lower.

I'd really prefer a pdf I can access anytime on my home computer.

Does anyone know of a source?

I got the FSM for my 2014, it’s on CD and viewable via a browser on my computer - it actually needs Internet Explorer, and when I needed it a couple of weeks ago, I needed to use MS Edge in IE mode. It’s been years since I got it, so I’m not sure what the source was. I can check and see if I can figure it out, but it might be a couple of days.

I believe they are out of stock because they've been discontinued by Stellantis in favour of subscription based manuals that are cloud-only. This means that (a) they can keep them up to date and more importantly: (b) they can control exactly who can and can't access them and extract the maximum amount of money from those that choose to access them.
This is really bad news for independent shops and DIYers like me.

If you're looking for a car service manual PDF, Auto Car Manual is a good place to start. They offer instant downloads, so you can access your manual anytime. eManualOnline is another great option for purchasing PDFs. For those who prefer physical copies, eBay is worth checking out for original manuals. Avoiding subscriptions like ALLDATA DIY can save you money if you prefer a one-time purchase.

Some forums and file-sharing communities (think Allpar, ChargerForum, Reddit threads like r/MechanicAdvice) occasionally host ZIPs of scanned factory manuals. Use at your own risk, but many shared PDF packages remain pretty complete. Many public libraries subscribe to services like ChiltonLibrary or Haynes Online. These aren't full factory manuals, but they provide maintenance instructions and some repair content for many vehicle models—sometimes enough for DIY maintenance tasks. Just need occasional reference Download a PDF from community sources or check your local library.
