I ordered my Durango on 4/29 but the dealer did not place the order until 5/5. The VOTS system does not work so I can't track the vehicle. I emailed Doge and they said production still has not started but my dealer is telling me it is done and waiting to ship. Who is telling me the truth? Is there any other way to figure this out?

I ordered my DD R/T on 5/31... dealer ordered it 6/5.... arrived at dealer 7/11. Pleasant surprise it arrived at the 6 week mark. Looking forward to pick it up tonight.

Just took the plunge today! Called Dodge and they said I could still order the '14 through the end of July. Ordered a Black Citadel V6 with everything except MOPAR and CPTs chairs. GREAT Price through USAA....15.47% :mrgreen: below MSRP (after rebates and discounts)! Dealer allowed me to use USAA pricing even though it was a factory order. Countdown begins!!!

You should come out to the factory in Detroit on August 15th, you might be able to see YOUR Durango being built...

Ordered our Durango on Sunday. How long does it usually take to receive a confirmation email? Want to be sure the salesman didn't mess anything up since he seemed new to ordering.

I never got one. I gave my dealer my address but I don't think they gave it to dodge.

There is a slight possibility that the order books are closed temporarily (this often happens close to the end of the month)..

Called Dodge and they have the order and gave me the VIN. She said no ETA and could only see that it's in "step 2" but she didn't know what step 2 is. At least it went through, feel better now.

Ordered my unit 3 weeks ago and no one seems that know when the h$&? It is going to come in. It has been assigned a VIN however we have been told that production has not started on it. As all of you know the web site is down and has been for ever. Dealer is useless on any update. Dodge 800 # says unit will take 10- 12 weeks. This is crazy.

Ordered mine today and will get it mid of September (could get it much faster but am on vacation to Sweden the next weeks).

It's a black Citadel 5.7 with AWD, blu-ray, technology package and some more stuff. We drove it round about half an hour at the dealers site and the looks we have gotten were priceless. Have to say we live in Germany were the Durango sit not sold officially but only due to specialized import dealers and personally I have not seen any here on the streets till now.

You can't compare a normal European car (currently Seat Alhambra Diesel) to a Durango

Used combination of USAA/Truecar buying service and email negotiations with a few dealers. My closest and has been my goto Doge dealer and worked with me the best and fastest. 12.53% under MSRP. OTD was still 8% under MSRP.

I tried to add the safety group but the factory said it was too late as the car was already being built so I hope that means it shouldn't be too long!

We did the same thing. We tried to add the console in between the captain chairs in the 2nd row about a week after we placed the order, but it was too late.
