This "unicorn" of a modification has been talked about, begged for, promised and generally tossed around in several places in this forum and others. Arrington made one for a while, but it wasn't particularly attractive and was expensive, yet sold out. No more made as far as I know. Black Ops promised that one was in active development, and was going to be amazing, yet seems to have dropped off the radar. Even a Forum member said he was really interested in fabricating one and offering them on the Forum. Haven't heard anything in a long time. Does anyone have an update on any or all of these options? It always seems like a number of people are interested, and the ones that were available from one company sold out. I don't get it. :???: Seems like someone with CAD and machining experience could do well with this if they had the inclination. Anyone???

Dependent on the design of the Bars and if it ties into the 2 firewall studs it should provide equal stability and rigidity although it will add more weight than a machined 6061 part

Good evening all 3D Fam.

I developed a Strut Bar for the 3rd Gen Durango's.

I have had the one I made almost 2 years ago on my D and it is great. I have sold a few of these through FB and the response has been great.

I am taking orders again and beginning making strut bars tomorrow. The strut bar is $250.00 plus $25.00 shipping. That includes powder coating of a basic color. You can buy it also without powder coating. It will come primed so that you can have it color matched if you like. Turnaround time will be about 5-7 days. Depends how fast I can get at least 10 orders to start. It is made from thick steel not thin tubing and steel plate. This is a sturdy and was made to last and looks great under the hood.

Please email me @ rickyroman3rd@hotmail.com Please include address, Phone #, year, Motor size, & color. I will send you my paypal info.

I am posting pics of a few who have bought the Strut bar and shared the pics.

Here is a photo of the strut tower bar installed. I ordered glossy black intending to wrap or decal it at a later date. In this photo, it is reflecting the red of my Durango. Definitely can feel a difference when I push through a corner.

Please keep us updated! Any link to the product? I'm sure the other getter bar works great, but I want something that is a little more "beefy".
The getter bar is very very very strong, high quality thick steel, no way is that a weak point.

I'm late to the show, anybody ever try a Mercedes GL strut bar? They run under $100.

The Getter bar has been approved for sale on this forum based upon our research of its design and sellers credibility

No worries talking about it is fine. We just have to respect the rules for this kinda stuff and trust me it protects everyone involved buyers and sellers.
I will tell you for the Money you wont find or need a stronger one than the Getter Bar.
