I figured I would start this thread to see what issues people are running into. I'm sure many of these will be worked out quickly but wanted to see is others are having the same issues I am.

1) Yesterday, my screen became completely unresponsive. It would not acknowledge any screen touches. This went on for 5 minutes and continued after a reboot of the system. Eventually it just started working on its own again. It started when my apple car play started up.

2) Performance pages are glitchy. They seem to crash when I select the certain performance page I want to view. Without fail, the G Force page crashes and reverts to the home page every time I click on it.

3) I am unable to add more than one profile. I called Uconnect and they said an update will be pushed out soon to add up to 5 profiles. Is everyone having this issue?

4) Screen not dimming when headlights are on while using apple carplay. It seems like its on full bright even when headlights are on only when on the car play screen.

uConnect called me & my dealer when the software update came out. Dealer installed the update the next day. uConnect said the software release was coming out on a USB stick within the next month. I still have issues with my phone saying disconnected, but the apple car play says connected while still playing music. Phone says connected via bluetooth & wi-fi during this. Have to reboot radio or go into device manager on uConnect and force a reconnection

I’m 45 minutes away from a dealer can I just wait for the USB?

I also just had a MASSIVELY loud buzz static come through the speakers while driving. Couldn’t mute or lower it. It’s as if it was at max volume too. Luckily I was pulling up to a light and just held power button down and restarting it killed the noise. Thankfully it was just me and not my baby in the car I would of been real upset!

ota-required-cache=0
ota-type=AB
post-build=harman/fca_dv2/fca_dv2:8.1.0/OPM1.171019.025/FCA-MY21.R17.89-PROD:user/release-keys
post-build-incremental=FCA-MY21.R17.89-PROD

Alpine, and HK, same as expected.

I actually wish i could go back to original FW. System sounded better.

I did the update with the file from Forbiddenwon...Thank you very much. It went fine , no problems.... One thing that I did notice that will only affect SRT guys, is that on the climate screen, the icons no longer have helmets on......Maybe that will change with a few key cycles, as my performance pages and drives modes were not there at first either. Be sure to do the factory reset after the update, then shut the car off and let it "go to sleep" Hopefully we will get an OTA update soon to bring us up to speed.....
I had the helmets on a non srt. This update is fcked

Looks to me like the fonts are generally a little bigger all around. Especially at the top of the display on the pull down bar. There are some text wrapping issues in various parts of the UI as a result of the bigger fonts. They clearly didn't bother to go through every screen to make sure all the buttons, widgets etc. took the bigger text correctly. I know that's really got to be a SHOCKER at this point!

Messing around with the new firmware reminded me that the gauges section of the performance pages actually has 2 pages... the first page has a top row with 3 gauges, and then a second row with only 2. But there is a second page which only has a single gauge. Why didn't they put that single gauge (I think it's is air intake temp) on the first page? There is clearly room for a third item on row two! STUPID.

Also... why in the hell do we have to press "Launch performance pages" once we've already selected the performance tab?

Grrrrrr... bad software bugs me, but when things are this obvious it really pisses me off.

They should give us more options for wallpapers. How hard would it be and how cool would it be to select our own wallpaper? And I agree on the performance pages. IAT should be on the first page as well. I like looking at that, especially since changing to the Legmaker intake.

This article talks about some of the SRT easter eggs....... Not sure if they were incorporated into the TNG also....

ITS HERE!!!! A mere 96 days after ordering, the dealer called to say that my vehicle now in PDI.

Got the Autobody wizard revved up to be another set of eyes for MY walkaround; spoke to the CU that financed the Challenger, got approval; and, lined up AutoNation, Vroom, CarMax, and Carvana to find the best price offer for said Chall (see Avatar).

NOW the real work begins.
Am now officially OFF of the ledge. Thanks to EVERYONE for the support and knowledge.

Now I will take two weeks off, then Quit!

Anyone used Forbiddenwon's update been used in a GT DD?
My Durango it a 2021 GT Plus with the 10.1 system.
Just to re-assure you, I used the file and had no problem with the update. Just be sure to do a factory reset after the update finishes...

So I just copied the .zip file onto my USB and plugged it in. System seems to read the USB and sat not a media file. I am on the media screen, and pick source USB1, it then goes to play.
Format the USB stick with FAT32 and then copy the zip file onto it.
Then when you plug it in the update will start. Takes about 18 minutes or so and seems like it gets stuck at times but it is working in the background.

It is formatted to MS-DOS (FAT32) from my iMac.
It is a 512GB / USB3.0

This past week, 2021 Pacifica owners are being mailed an USB for updates. I wonder if Durango owners will get the same in the mail.
Thanks again Forbiddenwon! I Finally have an updated system with separate user profiles for my wife and I. SUPER Slow to switch users as in over a minute but my guess is than an over the air update will come out to speed this up.

So when i get in, it will automatically startup with my profile and vice versa?
The profiles are linked to the driver seat memory position. So as you get in, hit your memory button on the door and your profile is loaded automatically.

We share key fobs so have not tested if having your own fob matches the seat position matches the profile ( but would expect that to work ).

Plug your VIN into the MOPAR recall site. You should see Y25 listed, unless you are in Canada apparently.

I don't regret doing the firmware update. I wish it was a little more productive tho. Not really all that much to speak of.

Two things I've noticed:

1) The fonts are all a little bigger... for the most part this is a good thing, but there are places where it has caused some display formatting issues - stuff like text that doesn't quite fit on the button anymore, but generally a little more readable.

2) I used to get a problem where the volume knob was set to control Navigation speech volume instead of the music. Typically this would happen at startup, and then be fine after I "fixed" it by forcing the Google Assistant to come up and then go away. I don't think I've had that problem since the update.

Latest update on the volume knob not controlling music volume:

1) Before the firmware update I figured out the easiest solution: Long press the voice activation button on the steering wheel to get the Google Assistant. Make sure to long press so you get Google not the built-in Dodge assistant. Then just short press it again to cancel. FIXED.

2) I have not had this happen to me since I got the firmware update with the OTA fix.
