I figured I would start this thread to see what issues people are running into. I'm sure many of these will be worked out quickly but wanted to see is others are having the same issues I am.

1) Yesterday, my screen became completely unresponsive. It would not acknowledge any screen touches. This went on for 5 minutes and continued after a reboot of the system. Eventually it just started working on its own again. It started when my apple car play started up.

2) Performance pages are glitchy. They seem to crash when I select the certain performance page I want to view. Without fail, the G Force page crashes and reverts to the home page every time I click on it.

3) I am unable to add more than one profile. I called Uconnect and they said an update will be pushed out soon to add up to 5 profiles. Is everyone having this issue?

4) Screen not dimming when headlights are on while using apple carplay. It seems like its on full bright even when headlights are on only when on the car play screen.

I have the HK and never listen to a DD with the Alpine, so I can't compare. But one thing I found is playing with the Spotify EQ and setting the Audio Quality sound too HIGH in Spotify and Soundcloud GO is vital, especially with Soundcloud. I like clear and loud sound with descend bass, and I can't go over 23/24 with the sound volume. I polyfilled the door speaker and the sub box and added felt tape around the plastic trim as they were the one rattling. The difference is Day and Night.

I'd love some pointers on how exactly you poly filled. how much and what kind and tips for taking the sub box apart.

I've done my own car stereos before so I'm handy enough to do it. that said, its been a while and a couple of kids ago. haven't been into a car stereo refit in some time...

Hey guys, brand new 2021 Durango owner here (less than a week) and my vehicle just received a software update for Uconnect 5. Here is the build number: FCA-MY21.R.17.99-PROD

I couldn't find any release notes on this version, and I still do not seem to have the ability to add additional profiles.

I gave it a shot real quick before I left to work this morning. Just stayed stuck on the wifi, the words are pushed so far out I couldn't tell if it said connected or connecting lol! Oh well. Mine hasn't been too problematic thankfully so I can wait.

went to the dealer today.... asked them about the update and lack of functions (the multi profile one specifically) they told me i had already received the OTA update.... ill have to go back out to the DD and get the version number, this is what the put on my WO.....

that was the 'reason' when we got the notifications on the mopar app, the notice went away, cause our vehicles were updated, and the notice no longer applied

Mine is a late build and I can use more than one profile. Different version than the other gentleman. For shits and giggles I checked Uconnect today for an update and says my VIN is current.

so the wife is saying her apple carplay is hit and miss. sometimes when it doesn't work first thing it will suddenly start working right before she gets to her job, which only takes her about 12 minutes to get there

otherwise i think she's fine with satellite. but i know if she is required to travel at some point she will want to use the ios map instead of the durango's.

So the recall Y25 seems to be firmware update related. The recall poped on mopar for few of us, but wen't away. It also seems to be gone on techautority. But some folks here got the update on the uconnect5 with a new firmware. So we are back to square one I guess? No update for the early built, no date and also no info.

I think they have an OTA bug that prevents an update and this is why they need to ship us poor souls, USB sticks.
I also think logistically, Dodge is failing miserably in getting the USB sticks procured and programmed and then shipped.

But I do expect to have a USB stick by:
