I figured I would start this thread to see what issues people are running into. I'm sure many of these will be worked out quickly but wanted to see is others are having the same issues I am.

1) Yesterday, my screen became completely unresponsive. It would not acknowledge any screen touches. This went on for 5 minutes and continued after a reboot of the system. Eventually it just started working on its own again. It started when my apple car play started up.

2) Performance pages are glitchy. They seem to crash when I select the certain performance page I want to view. Without fail, the G Force page crashes and reverts to the home page every time I click on it.

3) I am unable to add more than one profile. I called Uconnect and they said an update will be pushed out soon to add up to 5 profiles. Is everyone having this issue?

4) Screen not dimming when headlights are on while using apple carplay. It seems like its on full bright even when headlights are on only when on the car play screen.

MODS! Hey, can we ban this guy? Since his "Vehicle Details" now disparage the forum I don't think we need him around any longer.

We get it but this is the wrong forum to post your issue in. This is for the 10.1" screen which you do not have.
Please don't multi post across threads the same information and please stick to the proper forum.
2021 Durango w/ 10.1" screen is what I have, and I haven't posted anything across threads.
Before you accuse someone of something, make sure you know what you're talking about.

Guys/Gals/They, you have new 50k+ vehicle and you are using older phones. Batteries and internal charging systems are improved with every revision of a phone. My guess is your batteries are too old (via use) and are having issues with wireless charging. The Samsung S21 works perfect with the charging system in the Durango.
I bought the S21 just to match the technology of the Durango (J/K.. ;):ROFLMAO::LOL:)

Just hit the 10k km and I must have triggered something because my carplay, who has been pretty much flawless since, stopped working. I tried to “force” the carplay by connecting with the cable, and what it did was it created another device with the same name of my phone with the carplay logo, and above it was my same phone with the music and phone logo, without the carplay logo next to it.

So did delete the phone and boot the 10.1 and pair it back, and working fine since.

Did you guys know that it had a previous software version that what we all running right now?

Just got my DD R/T 2021 and my Bluetooth & Apple Car play only connects when feels the mood to do so, I have an iPhone 12 Pro Max so it should just connect since it is a newer phone. Its very frustrating. I have tried all the resets, forget my phone and reset the stereo...Still only seems to connect when it wants to, its very random. Anyone know a fix for this....SO FRUSTRATED

Did you call Apple? iPhone 12s are crap with bluetooth and if bluetooth has issues so will Apple Car Play.

Did you call Uconnect for assistance?

Did you reboot your phone?

Did you try using a USB cable for Apple Car Play and if so, does it work? (I bet it will work fine)

Why does every new member with this problem think they are the only one it has happened to? Every new post like this just starts the posting merry-go-round again. Reading the forum would actually prevent repeated posting of the same issue.

Here's one for you guys... has anybody found a way to control the blind spot warning chime volume? There is a setting for the front park sensor volume, and another for the rear. But the only thing I've found is a single setting for the blind spot... I can have it turned off, lights only, or lights+chime. It seems to be missing any volume options... and mine is LOUD AS F. Literally scares the hell out of passengers in my DD. It even startles me from time to time. My 2018 definitely had a setting for the chime volume.

I have not found a volume control for that alert but it is the same sound as the park sensor alerts. I did not try but though maybe that volume level controls the BS warning as well.
Also, the brainiac programmers decided to make the speed alert hard coded to 3mph over the limit and the warning tone it gives off is an annoying ugly tone.
At least my 8.4" Uconnect in my Ram verbally warned you AND you could change the over the limit speed setting.
These were all issues I reported 3 months ago and can only hope for DECEMBER!

I would love to get the firmware from the new Jeep L and try it on my Durango.
I am pretty sure people who have full dealership technical access to tech authority can get it.
If I had access I would be a guinea pig tester :D

Just joined, read all 44 pages. 2021, Build date of 042017, Software build; FCA-MY21.R14B.61-PROD

Here's my issues;

1- While on the home screen viewing the map on the left and songs on the right the Nav will drop leaving a black screen. The "fix" I found was delete the Nav widget and reinstall. This is random without touching the screen.

2- Weather will not work on Nav screen no matter what I try, and I tried all of the suggestions here. I keep getting "An error occurred. Please try again later" message.

3- Carplay drops occasionally to where I have to delete the phone and re-pair it.

Overall I'm happy with the vehicle, the 10.1 issues are a minor irritation so far, time will tell if/when an update comes out (not to bring up "DECEMBER", LOL)

If you think this software sucks you should buy a Harley with a radio.
