Yes actually. When my vehicle shut off a man from mechanic shop tried to jump start my truck but failed. So he went in the truck and connected the jumper cables to the auxiliary battery in order for me to move my truck on to a parking lot because I was in the middle of the road.

Actually, the batteries should not be jumped at their terminals and only at the jumper posts in the engine bay. Also with the aux battery it is very easy to misjudge which is + an -, as the post below shows.

It looks like the contacts were overheating perhaps from not being fully pushed in. Put a new same exact one in and fully push it and all of the fuses in and see how it behaves.

I appreciate your help!! I got that fuse box replaced and everything is working as normal, great thing it was nothing to do with the alternator.
About the dash board, I was looking at the picture you posted for me, I realized someone moved one of the fuses connected to the dashboard. I replaced it with a new one and it powered up!

Hi good day! Soooo.. we replaced the fuse box everything was good last night coming home my voltage was at 13.7V the whole ride home so about 18 minutes. This morning I got the vehicle on it was on 13.8V once I put it on drive it dropped to 12.6V .. do you happen to know what could possibly be going on? I won’t be able to take it to a mechanic for another week

Probably weak batteries. I don't remember if you ever said if you changed them. The DD is very sensitive to poor batteries. The alternator could also be the cause but that is unlikely if your batteries are a few years old.

I did replace the main battery, brand new but not the auxiliary battery as it was measuring at proper V. I was given a 98PLT In the beginning but I switched it out for a 48PLT battery bc the 98 did not fit correctly in the battery compartment

You should also replace the aux battery at the same time. They play off of each other.

Good day! Hope everyone is doing well. I should have asked you all this question the last time we chatted. Could any of you tell me what this broken part is called? I have looked at a few diagrams but I am not able to depict it from the pictures.
