If you read the articles about the Durango Hellcat, it says the Trailer-Tow Group is included in the "Plus" package. It's possible it's not available as a stand alone and if you want it you have to get a bunch of other expensive stuff you may or may not want.

Ahhh, you may have found the 'fine print'.... less and less ala-carte selections and bundling into larger packages...

Draw Tite #76196. Link in the 1st post of my install thread here. You'll want to verify fit on your new DD SRT though. It should be the same.
Looks like Draw Tite has updated this with #DT38MR. According to etrailer.com, it does fit the 2022 DD, but doesn't show a vehicle trim selector. But I'm 99% sure it would be right. You could message the good folks at etrailer. They are pretty responsive to customer questions.

The only visible difference to me is that 76196 had welded on loops for the trailer chains whereas DT38MR has a plate with holes instead. Also note that this hitch has a 7500# max trailer weight limit which is less than the factory hitch on the SRT, but greater than the factory hitch on my R/T.

I guess I need to check with my dealership as I ordered a 2023 Durango SRT about 3 weeks ago and as part of the package I wanted the hitch and small spare. I heard nothing about those 2 features not available. When I hear from them, I'll update my posting.

If they are going to put the MOPAR hitch on at the dealership, be careful. For whatever reason they severely limit the towing capacity of the aftermarket one, even though it is the same one they put on at the factory. It wouldn't matter from a practical standpoint, but maybe from a legal one if you ever got into a wreck.

I suppose I take the same risk with my aftermarket Draw Tite hitch., although it is rated by the manufacturer for the full capacity of the R/T. 🧐

I didn’t know orders have opened up for the ‘23’s - wonder if there will be anything upgraded from the ‘22’s…

My ‘18 SRT has the tow package and what was ‘special’ about it was the special load leveling shocks. Not the hitch. Not the prewiring. The shocks. Which is probably why you can’t get it currently. If they can’t get ‘em they can’t sell em. This might have changed by now but it is true for mine!

I ordered my 22 srt back in April and the tow package was available. It’s not considered the tow and go package. I also could not do the lightweight package with the hitch. I mainly wanted the 3 row delete but the computer wouldn’t allow it. My build wasn’t scheduled until July. As for the spare... I haven’t looked under it yet haha. I hope it’s back there.
I put a mopar hitch on my 2015 and ordered the smooth rear bezel piece and then had it color matched. I think a couple bolts and 2 rivets on both sides then the whole rear bumper cover comes off. Then another 4 or 6 bolts to slide the actual metal bumper out and the hitch slides in the frame and the same bolts go back in.

Because the tow package is more than just the hitch. I believe the R/T has most of the 'extra' stuff that would come in the tow package, but without the full factory tow package, you are limited in your legal tow capacity.

With the SRT, the tow n go also includes a better alternator and a transmission cooler along with the load leveling shocks.

You are correct regarding the R/T having everything else in the Tow Pkg except the very slightly larger capacity radiator. I wanted to highlight the potential legal implications of a dealer or self-installed MOPAR hitch vs. one installed at the factory since they under-rate the MOPAR hitch in that case.
