Repainting the fog light trim ring bezel. Pressure washer was taking off the black paint. They are not painted well from the factory.

Just checking in… how’s everyone doing?

Not today, waiting for at least 3 days of sun and nice weather to repair/ touch-up rock chips. I’m not to happy about it at all. Damn thin a$$ paint. Can’t keep anything nice at all these days!

Once that is done I need to throw a coat of wax on it!
After the touch-up paint cures a bit!

I’m in central nj anyone recommend a PDR shop?

Almost positive I had mentioned this on here but Last year a deer decide to jump in the middle of the road and used my side door as a brake. I had moved over once I saw him and he bounced off my door. He was alive and didn’t say sorry, call my insurance company.. he just fled the scene!

So I need a little PDR on the door. I was lucky it’s not bad. But he created a slight wave on the door that I can see only, unless I tell you. It drives me up a wall. This was supposed to be taken care of last year but I had other priorities. Like going back to that spot to find him and say hey dude remember me??? Your Head would look great on my mantle!

Anyways - for the people that live in nj and were affected by the storm. I hope you are ok, it was pretty damn rough in certain areas and if there is anything that I can do don’t hesitate to reach out to me!

Hey BigD - Hope you fared well w/ the storm brother. Carstar in Roselle did a nice job for me.

You still owe me a pic of the under glow at night time. I’d like to see the pure white under it as well as the green. When you have a chance, please.

long story short I went on vacation a month ago to nc to visit my family. My brother in law has a lift in his garage and I was going to by the opt7 aurora pro and send it to his address so we can install when I was down there. But of course something came up and I couldn’t order the kit then.

Always good to hear from you, brother. I wish I could help you with the PDR but the only guy I know of is all the way up here in Toronto. I haven't used him yet (all jinxes begone from what I just said) but I've seen his work and he's a magician. An older gentleman from Europe who's an honest to goodness artisan. I hope it works out for you.

I'm glad you're well.

Took the D on a road trip to MA. Sadly the rears rubbed a bit w/ 3/4+ tank of gas, 6 passengers, 4 bikes, & roof cargo box. Running Bilstein shocks, black ops springs, w/ 1” spacers in the rear. Not sure if I should go back to LL’s, get adjustable Bilsteins, or put a bigger set of spacers….

There are some small metal tabs that stick out underneath the wheel well carpet stuff where the push pins attach. You can bend them up a ways. Might help with the rubbing a bit. Mine rubbed a little when loading the rear up and going over bumps. After I pushed the tabs up it stopped.

Added at least 345 hp...

Reinstalled trim around the foglight lower bumper area after repainting (gloss black) and also put on new foglight trim rings (matte black).

Next time the foglight housings are out I will be painting the chrome trim ring around the lens black. I didn’t really notice it at first but it bothers me now that I see it in the pictures. #fullblackout

Oh yeah…mosquitoes are horrible by me. [emoji1787]

Took off the red 345 emblems (since I was sick of replacing them every year due to fading badly) along with red hash center caps (same reason) and red bumper hash. Replaced the center caps with oem and bumper hash to grey. I think it looks cleaner and hopefully does not fade as fast.

Installed the Legmaker CAI. Fit and finish of the kit is pretty good. I just wish there was some sort of bracket to keep the tube from rubbing the AC line. I don’t really want to bend it. I’m in a dryer climate so I’m not running the additional prefilter “sock” for now. Butt dyno might feel a slight difference in response when I hit the pedal. Can definitely hear the intake when you turn of the rig which I’ve always liked. We’ll have to see if mpgs change at all or I just stick my foot in it more.
