We traded our 2011 4 runner for the D. Toyota was a great suv but nothing like the D. We say it's a good combination of the 03 Lexus IS300 sport design we had (almost the same color) and my 07 Trailblazer SS. I don't miss the gas mileage on the SS. Probably 14 MPG downhill with a good wind behind it.

Dodge Durango vs. Mazda CX-9.
Our 15' Durango replaces a very painful experience with a Mazda CX-9 (which included lemon laws and attorneys).
While the CX-9 had quite sporty ride, there were many draw backs compared to the DD. The only somewhat comparable part was the 3rd row, which was bigger than most other SUV/X-overs, but the 3rd row in the DD is much better IMHO. The CX-9 had a decent v6, but was pretty lacking in power (felt) compared to even a v6 based DD, and fuel economy was frankly bad at 16-17mpg.

Where the DD excels from the CX-9:
- Seats much more comfortable in the DD
- Audio system sounds better
- In the RT trim handles better, pretty even between non-RT and CX-9
- With V8, similar so far, and potentially better than the V6 based CX-9
- Hauls more, carries more, tows more
- Much roomier feel in the drivers seat
- The "tech" is more and works better

Thinking more about it, it's a better overall package mid-size SUV with a 3rd row than ANY other vehicle out there from all my test drives and research.

I do still have and love my 03' Silverado (ext, z71). The truck is tough as nails and used as the lumber/mulch hauler, camping truck, "neighbor needs to haul something" truck, etc.

Resurrecting an old thread - Still fun as there are new members joining all the time.

There are a few turds in my list but they each hold many fond memories.

07 Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT8 (still own it, and love it!)
08 Jeep Grand Cherokee
14 Mercedes Benz E330 4Matic (technically the wife's)
14 Durango Limited

In 2002 I got an Escape' Sport but I don't have a photo of it. Saturn Vue Redline I got new in 2005, then in 2008 I got my 2009 G8 GT, then in 2013 I got my RAM 1500, and bought the Silver G8 GXP and sold the G8 GT later that year. The G8 is my garage queen which I plan to keep. The RAM is going bye bye when I get my D which is hopefully VERY soon!
