Well I guess the "curse" isn't over yet. This morning a family returning home to GA from their vacation here in Carlisle was ran off the road by a 18 wheeler on I-81. The 6 kids and 3 adults in in the van all were sent to the hospital, but thankfully are expected to recover. The worst part of it all? After the crash, the truck driver CONTINUED ON HIS WAY! :naughty:

Lauren agrees with what you say, drivers on the PA interstates are insane! I'd rather drive in Boston any day, the alleged home of crappy drivers. At least they're not frakin nuts!

Ad finally, some pix.

Congrats to all who made it! You guys always seem to put forth a marvelous image of our group showing that we're made up of folks with vehicles from mild to wild.

It was so effin, hot the pix kinda fell off the list. If it wasn't for HeavyD's generator and fans, we'd probably all be melted into the grass now.

But it was another great outing and it was great to hang with the best Mopar folks on the planet!

Yes it was way hot!
Thanks for the pics Tom!
And a special thanks to all the attendees, those who brought food items, and you guys that BBQ'd are the best! We had the best food of any group, I can guarantee that.

We need to clue the Redline and SRT gangs into where the food is next year. :)

It's the "Carlisle Curse" that caused this. You guys are just so close it had to hit you on the way home as it didn't have time to get ya on the way there. Whoahahah!!
I think Indy gets the Rusty Pulley Award this year, tho not exactly "Rusty" nor "Pulley."

Oh, and for those who couldn't make it, it's not just Durangos.

I'd like to nominate Neil and Bill to be our official DOC cooks next year, definitely some tasty stuff off both grills!

I had a great time, despite the heat, and it was fantastic meeting everyone there. I was having such a good time in Durangoville, I had to remember to go see the rest of the show! I did end up with the flu Sun morning, but was able to make it home and recover without incident. I'm very much looking forward to next year and will do what I can to be there again.

I see none of the D's that were in the 2nd row made it to the photo posting, oh well.

No eggshell walking or poor sportsmanship coddling here. I had my mega-fill of that with you at numerous past events you decided to join in on. I'm not in the mood nor will I allow your negative seed planting to grow into anything more. It's an extreme rarity when I put my foot down here at the DOC, nevertheless, I'm indeed doing it now. Thus, knowing from past posts/events/etc. how your seed grows into something very ugly, let me personally put the brakes on your comment immediately.

Cry me a river John! I didn't see any pictures of rows at all from Saturday, was your camera broken? Just because no one posted a Saturday photo of your Durango doesn't mean you're being slighted. Feel free to post photos yourself, many of us who couldn't attend Carlisle this year would love to see dozens of them.

Instead of deleting your post, appeasing your emotions, dealing with or ignoring a snide comment and/or sending you a private message as has all been done in the past (and obviously didn't do the trick), right or wrong, we'll handle it this time around right here and right now.

This isn't an invitation for a discussion and isn't a point, counter-point opportunity. The following is intended as a final statement, feel free to internalize it and participate in the forum gleefully or plan your exit.

The anti-social behavior that's been prevalent in person by you at past events attended by only the few who observed it won't be tolerated here in our public forum for the World to see. You are hereby publicly issued your one and only warning. Be advised!

Now back to our regularly scheduled program.

There are second row photos, but they're from Friday. With the heat I shot far fewer pix in total this year than in years past (like 30 vs >300) and almost none on Saturday.

The Durango photos posted were mostly taken on Sunday and, if you'd been there, you'd have been in them. If any pictures were taken on Saturday, your truck would have been seen as it was parked next to the tent by the road. You had the best photo parking spot of anybody! Lets see if anybody has Saturday pictures, I didn't take any as it was too hot!

As for second row? There were two rows, one facing one direction and the other facing the other direction, and I thought how the trucks were parked was a great layout. Personally I'd have switched parking places with you in a heartbeat as you were parked front and center with the "best" view of the main road. I'm sure some of the other guys would have loved to have parked where you were too.

No matter what pics where taken and who or what was in them, the photos that where taken where great and showed just how much fun (even with the heat) that we had. I'd like to thank everyone who did take and post photos to share with the rest who couldn't attend for whatever reason. :D
