I see none of the D's that were in the 2nd row made it to the photo posting, oh well.
I had a big response to this, but it didn't end well no matter how many times I tried to be nice so I finally just deleted it all and wrote this instead.

It sounds as if everyone who attended had a good time and enjoyed seeing the pictures that were taken, even though there were only a few. I'm sorry not everyone's D made it into this thread, but you're all invited to add any pictures you took during the event, regardless of what the vehicle was.

John, if you don't enjoy going to the meets for the sake of the company, then maybe you shouldn't go anymore. You were included in every aspect of this meet so don't think you were intentionally left out of the pictures. Honestly, I doubt anyone else noticed.

This thread isn't going anywhere fun, maybe we should just end it?

I didn't do my usual pic taking this year with it being so hot anyway. I just thought some other people might have is all I meant with that comment. But I guess I shouldn't say anything from now on.

Judging from the pictures that were taken, it looked to be a pretty fun event; I wish I could have gone. Next year I'll have my D where I want it plus I'll have moved from NM to NC making it easier for me to get there. I can't wait until then to be able to join the rest of the DOC in Carlisle.

Found a Saturday row-2 pic.

I'd shuffled my SD cards when I got home to shoot some portraits for a neighbor who needed a head shot for a seminar series he's going to be running and it fell by the wayside.

Thanks Tom!

John, your continued negative responses must come to a screeching halt. As far as including you, as Dwayne stated, we made extra sure everyone was included in everything. As for your prior comments to me? I'm sorry you felt we fixed the show but, as for winning, we haven't "all" always been winners; and we won't "all" always be winners. However, that doesn't mean we can't "all" have fun and enjoy spending time with our pals.

Lose the chip on your shoulder or lose our web address!

Thanks
Steve

I think it's important to keep in mind that the DOC isn't really a car club as much as it is a group of longtime friends. The game is different when people in the club LIKE each other.

The Durango club tent at these shows is never full of bored wives, unentertained children, unrestrained egos, or dudes who hire their own photographer and cherry picker. There are other, bigger, clubs that offer that if it's what you want.

We have tents with inflatable palm trees, homemade salsa and hand-dug moats to keep the rain out. We're friends and it's more like friends at a barbecue than folks competing for a national title.

So just relax, enjoy, and maybe have another one of those margaritas? no flipping out required.

Well said!

Here are the pictures I took of the DOC Durangos, including a number of personal glory shots of my Durango.

Thanks for sharing the pics! Looks like it was nice and sunny with not a cloud in the sky. I can just imagine the hot weather as Southern MN was triple digits the week of the 4th and the heat moved East by that weekend.

Thanks to all who shared pics!

Great pics Nate, thanks for sharing!
Lauren, well said and thank you!

The word under the tent is that Neil has a killer recipe for some beans. Maybe next year we can get him to share some? :D
