Hey guys as the title says I am getting some noise from the engine bay, sounds like a pulley I've tried turning on and off the a/c but it wont go away. I am taking the car to the dealer tomorrow see what they tell me. I have a road trip this weekend hope is an easy fix. I will try posting a video is a 2015 RT 12600 miles on it the noise is really noticeable is not there as soon as I start the engine but in less than 2-3 mins starts to whine.

What is your experience with rental vehicles in case is not fixable before the weekend. Is it required for them to give u one or is not? I know luxury cars do give u loaners had a lexiñus before and was never an issue but how is it with Dodge?

rentals included in max care optional warranty, if not its dealers discretion.

Yup looks like water pump, I wont know for sure till monday, for now I be driving a rented dodge caravan. The sucky thing pumps are in back order with no release date. I am really bumbed out I had to leave the durango at the dealer with no idea when it will be fixed.

Same problem with mine 2012 durango 3.6 did you find out what it was I took mine to transmission shop but it's not that .

Roger:
Remove the serp belt, and fire it up for a minute. See if the sound changes or goes away. If so, you likely have a belt driven component on the way out. If not, you have ruled out quite a few parts with one operation. Don't run it too long that way though, as the water pump won't be turning.
