Here's a thread that I see on a lot of car forums that is pretty fun to look through.

So, what did you do today? It can be anything from a fresh wash to ordering new parts!

Why do you keep two threads running on this?

Technically this isn't his thread. He's sharing what he did to his Durango and shared his own thread with pics. I don't see anything wrong with that.

Right side #23. Actually won 4 out of 6 because of my reaction times and AWD 60fts lol. All just fun anyways. Track got super slick as it went on. Best times right around that were really early on. Gonna keep working on my high end so I can run my smaller radials. Need more horses to pull through that final 5th gear. Dragy is from the same run. Pretty close. Best reaction time was .266 though. Timing is tricky.

I installed my performance hood grills today... I went by the dealership to check on screws and saw the new hood grills on the lot. They appear to have changed on the new model year?

2021 and newer Durangos have a different hood vent design. Actually matches the older models with the crosshair grill better. I put 2021 hood vents on my 2016.

What did I do to my Durango today? I haven't quite cracked 130 miles on the odometer, but today I put on a Legmaker CAI and the upgraded foot pedals.

Ported my 6.4 intake manifold. Runners matched to head ports and TB inlet matched to my BBK 85mm TB

About 95% of the plastic...

Did these runs in the same exact spot. Dragys a little iffy on altitude and slope sometimes. Before and after 6.4 Intake Manifold Porting. First tune revision.

Before porting...

I got her to hit the 12s😁 Just took a little bit of intake manifold porting (if only I'd done it earlier) three runs back to back to back. No time to cool so each time was a tiny bit worse but still in the 12s.

I wouldn't even want to see the look on my wife's face if I did that to the DD.

I'm sure mine would have gave me a serious, "you're crazy!" look while shaking her head. But one of reason I've gone "full retard" with all this is the wife is no longer with us, me and the kids. Part of my process I guess.

Oh, oh. Is that your subconscious mind working to off the DD that you hate?

I agree, something to enjoy with the kids as they grow and learn. Good man there, you are.

DDHC's first tow! Surprisingly didn't get worse towing fuel economy than my DDSRT.
that's a nice layer of "pre-brake" around your tires lol. and i'm assuming, with all that HC power, you weren't completely positive you still had something in tow behind you, since obviously you couldn't see it 🤣

😁
Fuse 77 transfer case toggle switch. Works while running. Disables and enables the computer that controls the main hub clutch inside the transfer case. When off the main shaft spins independently of the secondary shaft.

Tested a couple times, really easy to spin the rear tires. Then when stopped with the truck running, not even in park, I can toggle it back on. I did this mainly to be able to clean and warm up my rear radials at the track.

Have to add too my current race tune has the traction control and ABS disabled, I don't know how it would effect normal operation when switching back and forth.
