Here's a thread that I see on a lot of car forums that is pretty fun to look through.

So, what did you do today? It can be anything from a fresh wash to ordering new parts!

No, I totally do lol. My 15 and my 18 both had Dodge in chrome even though they were Blacktop Editions. I assumed my 21 would be the same way and before I received it, I ordered the letters in black. Was going to pull off the chrome and put on the black OEM letters. It’s just not necessary and I didn’t realize it. So I need to sell the OEM letters I ordered by mistake.

That looks awfully close to my 2016 RT steering wheel. What's the improvement?

I didn’t get an SRT, but it is a Scat Pack. Looks like the only difference is the size of the paddles and the plastic at the bottom.

Mine came on the car when I got it from the first owner, though through Vroom.

Added 1" vinyl to the faded window sill trim. Figured out a wet application works better to get all the bubbles out. Damn near matches the paint

I did this too a few months ago as an experiment to see if I could do it and how it would hold up. I had a roll of 4” vinyl and cut it into strips. So far it is working well and looks good. I got the idea from a thread on here about products being used to restore the faded trim. I tried wipe new, but it didn’t work, so I did this. Looks like you did a great job.

Well Done! That looks really good. Just haven't found a product that brings back the black.

Just finished up complete detail on our 2018 Citadel with the 5.7. Lot of rain this weekend so I was waxing in the garage. Snuck out to do a final wipe and snapped a couple pics, not the best pics. Anyways I used Maguiars ultimate liquid wax, my go to sealant for about 4 years now. Last pic to show the mirror finish. Anyway one thing I know, it ain’t right for a family SUV to look as sexy as these Durangos do!

Just picked her up from the dealer and had them align a panel and fix a few QC things. Pardon the dirty girl! While it was in the body shop, I had them put on the Hellcat splitter. I didn’t paint it for now as I thought it would look good with the wrapped hood and the black on the lower rear fascia. It looks mean! The only thing I’m not 100% sold on is the very side profile where connects in the wheel well.

Man, the black on the hood looks good!

The splitter looks good that color too, it matches the other black. If anything I'd try to paint match that little square area where you're talking about. Leaving the very bottom black but basically finishing the rest of the fender trim silver so its lined up even with the bottom of the fascia.

You know you've lived somewhere a long time when you can see a background like that in a pic and say, "that looks like Vegas"😀

Picked her up yesterday. Programmed my settings and fob, just need to do the wife's. Got complete weathertech mat set ordered, and scheduled for front matching tint.

On a hunch I looked up the floor mat part numbers and the fronts are the same as our outgoing grand cherokee. I haven't put them in yet but if they do in fact fit it's a damn shame they are the cocoa color and not black.

Other than that I don't think we have any other plans for it.
