Let the modding begin: I added Husky front and rear mudflaps today. I'll update this post with pics tomorrow. The one's I took in the garage just don't cut it.

 

I put husky X-act's in last week for front and second row. Got a good deal on them and have loved them so far. Great material

 

I did a little towing with mine but that's not the exciting part.

I FINALLY broke into the 11s with my Charger!!

I wanted it by the end of the year and I got it this weekend.

Wrapped the trim on my Limited wheel... still have yet to do the chrome "ring"

 

Very interesting... especially for the air vents next to the door, you know, the ones that reflect in your side mirrors!

 

Did the first oil change, added a MM catch can and a Borla exhaust. Love this 17 r/t so far.

That can looks like it's mounted upside down? I don't think it'll work that way.

You'd still be best served to replace them even if they came black... in order to get rid of the stupid capped nuts that many manufacturers use.

Today, I drove it. So far 650 miles total after I turned 100k last year. It sits a lot so just driving it is an accomplishment. Had to charge the battery first though.

 

Getting tired of cleaning this off the Durango. Over 40" of snow in the last 10 days with temps around 0*F, yet Christmas is predicted to be around 50-60*F. Thanks for the bipolar weather Michigan! Also I need to post snowman kits for sale and ship the kits out to poor deprived people that don't get snow.

 

Goodmorning, well yesterday I got in my case of amsoil signature series, so i changed oil , put a drop in k&n (just for cheapness of reuseing) and changed out a/c cabin filter to a charcoal fram model.

That 1 year old cabin filter was crazy dirty! I ended up giving out the vacuum and sticking it in compartment to get any thing that fell out while removing filter.

While removing the glovebox to access cabin filter you have to put pressure on both sides inwards as you pull outward to get the 2 retaining nubs past the trim. Pretty upsetting when i cracked one of the nubs forcing it out, (superglued we will see how it holds up)

++1 And those Rino ramps that i use for my cars are rated for 6,000lbs vehical front weight, paired with my new baby monitor driving up on them was a breeze.

After driving around checking that no fluids were leaking, gave the D a nice bath and aired up tires.

Was looking to drop the glovebox last week when I installed the dashcam, and also tried pushing in the sides to release the tabs, I was not able to squeeze enough to release, and thought I'd probably break them if I pressed harder. Seems like it should be easier to release the tabs, and I suspect I'll end up breaking them when I have to replace the filter too.

 

Finally got a chance to wash the RT since buying over a month ago, and was able to apply a coat of REJEX before winter. Good to get some protection in place before the winter salt, plus really makes the Pearl color look good.

 

Btw did see a mpg improvement from oil change and the drop in. Avg 30 mpg with going through houston stop and go, then 130m to corpus at 75-80mph, w cross wind. 2016 v6 limited w eco on and babying the acceleration.

Before that best I got was 24-25mpg on open road.

 

Hmmm. I just drove FL to PA about 1100 miles in a '14 V6 and only got about 23mpg w/eco on. I expected more. Wonder if I should get an oil change before heading back. I'm almost due anyway.

Much respect for any creature that is mostly water based that dwells below freezing temp! Here we get more precipitation than Seattle per year, but differant, when it rainns it floods, Seattle I hear is like a sprinkle then sun, sprinkle, then sun. Florida has some wicked rain also

So I picked up these in Matte/chrome, and also have some in the works gloss black/jazz blue

They are a 3 piece design the base, the rombus, then the top that the rombus pokes through.

Should be fixed

Did you end up doing your own like planned or is this the Sarona one I linked in the shaker thread? Looks SHARP. Especially with the black lights on a white car. If it is the Sarona one, what is your opinion of the quality?

 

Does anyone know how to take the fog lights out? I have some lamin-x yellow tint film .. its a pain in the rear to put them on the fog lights.

 

They pop in from behind the bumper and a couple tabs hold them on. I think there is 1 on top and 1 on bottom of each light?

Get up under there and you'll see the tabs sliding through a ring that goes around the fog light assembly.

Pry 1 tab out and the whole assembly will let go. It's pretty easy once you figure it out.

What tire size is that? And did you need to use spacers to get the older Rubicon wheels to clear the brakes? What brand spacers did you use?

 

About a week late posting this but tinted the front and installed pedals.

 

BigAl show some more pics of the grill, open the hood up to show what you mean. Did you have to adjust anything when installing?

No adjustments needed I can see over time having issues with the fiberglass cracking which is my concern with the design
