That's pretty slick. What did you mke them out of? I bet you could market these custom lower rocker panels to others.

Well we all have 3 pieces of OEM "chip shields" on our Durango's rear door /rocker area/ wheel well molding. After 30k of 9" wheels and winter driving the rockers and wheel well mouldings were beat up. After a paint touch up the next thing was to replace the factory "chip shields" Call to dealer has them at $30.00 each. I also knew they were all a bit small and just an extra 1/2" would make all the difference. A few years ago i bough a few rolls of extra InvisbleMask brand clear protection tape.

I had saved the chip shields i removed from the durnago and traced out my own and they look great. Now I'm making templates for the areas on the wheel wells were Dodge didn't have them but i know mine sure does.

Grainy but u can see how bad it was.
