This just started today on my 2 week old '23 DDSRT.

Upon start-up the screen is completely blank

Pressing the center of the volume button causes it to fire up & all seems well after that.
Up till today, it seemed to fire up fine tho the initial screen seems to randomly display different pages.

Is it suppose to start at your Home page or the last page you were viewing when you shut it off ??
The manual really gives no clues

I have the same (2022 DDSRT). Sometimes it stays black, but normally it turns on, displaying a random page. But as I connect my iPhone with it, after auto-connecting it jumps to the CarPlay screen.

BTW, which tires are on yours? Mine has the original Pirelli Pzero, but that seems to not be produced anymore and I need new tires.

Mine came with the Pirelli Verde Zero 295/45ZR20 BSW All–Season Tires (run-flats). If I had ordered it, I'd have popped for the 3 season ones.
So far they seem OK, but I've only driven 150 miles.

OK if it ends up working ok after being on a couple of minutes then that is normal.
The OS loads, Tom Tom loads, apps load etc and it takes time. I see a large FM icon when my boots up when starting the car. Mind you that is only after the vehicle has been off for at least an hour for the system to go to sleep. I think that is a little trick FuConnect is doing so any wierd issues that may crop up on a system running for days will be eliminated on a reload. If the problem is persistent while driving then try a hard reboot. Press in the volume button until it reboots which is about 15 seconds or so. Then give it a good 15 minutes to fully load apps and maybe longer to fully load Perf pages. Once done your Fuconnect should work much better.

It does not seem to come on by itself, tho the backup camera displays. There is no display at all (no splash screen etc.). Pushing the volume button is the only thing that brings it back. It's been fine for the last 2 weeks. Worked Tue (2 trips), then blank today.
Does yours boot to your home page or the last page you were on when you shut down? Mine has been inconsistent, sometimes booting to one of the apps pages.

Mine never boots to the home page unless I do the volume button trick, otherwise its always to the media page I am using (mostly Sirius).

@MikeD1 It should power on and open on the last page you were using.
If it's powering up on the home page, it might be rebooting. Those are the only times I ever had mine start up on the Homepage.
My GW does the same thing: powers up on the last page used unless I reboot. Which I've had to do every few weeks.

I know there is a 'restart radio' (reboot ?) selection in the system settings, guess I need to give that a try tomorrow.

Tried the radio reset, no joy - screen went black & I had to push the volume on/off to get it back on :(

Do a factory reset which will return the unit to factory delivered ready. You will lose all your settings.
This fixed an issue with mine when I upgraded the firmware.

Ugh, holding out on that as the 2nd to last (go to dealer) option - took forever to wade thru all the settings, but it may come down to the OE reset :(

Fixed it !!!

When I was fussing with settings on Tue (the last day it worked correctly), the last area I was in was the audio settings.
There is a tab for "Radio on/off" and I set that to 'off' thinking it would just keep the radio from playing when I started the car (I would prefer it not come on till I want it).

Well, it does + apparently Uconnect thinks the ENTIRE unit is the radio, sooooooooo nothing comes on
I set that bugger to 'on' and now the screen activates upon start-up & seems to go to the last screen I had up (usually the gauges).

Yes, there is a fuse for the media center, the layout of the fuses is in the owners manual.

I’ve check the fuse under the seat an it was good. I’ve tried to do a reset by unhooking the battery for 15 mins. I’m at a lost, I just don’t understand how it just all of a sudden everything stopped working
Bump this old post here by black cloud 160. I see no responses to his particular post, and I'm having this SAME issue. Fuse not blown either and no combination of hard or soft resets or battery disconnects, has fixed it.

Do you have audio or the blank screen and nothing seems to work?
