Anyone heard any news on tuning options for a 2016 R/T? I emailed Hemifever, and he replied saying Diablo hasn't released anything for the 2016 yet.

I'm sure there will be some differences, considering the sport mode. It would be great if an aftermarket company came up with a way where a tune could be loaded and then enabled by activating the sport mode button. Then the OEM tune is re-enabled by turning off sport mode.

Considering the 2015's haven't even had the code broken to be able to tune I wouldn't hold my breath on the 2016's.

Love my Durango, but GM vehicles are much easier and cheaper to tune. Swapping out PCM's is expensive and way too much headache to deal with. Hopefully, one of these companies cracks the code to make it easy to tune our Durangos.

Thats not really what I would call being able to be tuned.
Ok, what would you call it then?

After you have the unlocked PCM from Diablo Sport, you can load their canned tunes or load a custom tune using their hardware. This is how Hemifever can offer custom tuning for the 2015s.

That said, I do agree GM vehicles are MUCH easier. I too wish my 2016 Durango R/T was just as easy as my 2005 GTO, but until that happens, I'd be glad to take an unlocked PCM solution from Diablo if they had it.

isnt there an issue with the odometer mileage not being equal to the pcm mileage when you do the pcm swap ? this difference would surely void any manf warranty, even if you did swap back in the oem pcm before taking it in for service.

Depends on the tech really... They'd have to check both of them, I know I wouldn't unless someone came in with obvious damage from engine knocking or bricked ECU.

What subject is it taking you to?

Must be a bug with Tapatalk.

It's a link to a thread in the 2011+ Performance section about Diablosport seeking a 2016 Durango R/T for them to use in testing their tuning solution.

I would definitely offer up mine, but Florida is a long drive from central Texas ;)

Sounds good, let us know what you find out. I have a feeling torque management is really holding back the performance under the curve.

They emailed me back and said that they do not need any test vehicles as they have one currently and are very close to completing a successful tune. That's all the email said, so hopefully over the next few weeks, it will happen.
