Anybody know what Traction Control actually does? What are the advantages/disadvantages of having it on/off, and most importantly has anybody noticed any diff?
I second that motionWould almost pay to see a clip of an R/T burnout..

I 5th that motion. If I didn't have an all wheel drive I would do it.Would almost pay to see a clip of an R/T burnout..
Do you just turn off the traction control or do you also need to disable econ mode?Traction control applies the brakes to the wheel or wheels that are slipping, therefor transferring power to the non slipping wheel via the differential. It also allows the torque converter in the transmission to slip, and at the same time retards the timing of the engine. Yes it makes a difference. My D is 2wd, and with TC on, it will not do a burn out, but with it off it will do a very impressive and smokey burn out.
