So...the other day I started my truck and someone said to me, Hey why does your driver side headlight move when you start it?
Whaaa? What the heck do you mean...move????
Here let me stand in the front...you start it and I'll look because there's no way that the headlight moves when yo.....

I once drove my buddy's porsche...I got on it pretty good, in the corner I hit the brakes real hard and I swear the headlights shifted up as the nose of the car pulled down...Do the RT's do the same thing? If so, that's pretty awesome.

I guess no one else noticed that you said just the drivers side? Both lights should do this every time you start the car with the lights on.

Our headlamps don't turn into corners like others cars do. Just auto level themselves

To add to what Mr. D said, the headlight units do this because it's critical to keep the blinker fluid level at all times while the vehicle is running. If there is an uneven distribution of B.F., it can cause the blinker bulb to burn out very prematurely or, even worse, you could end up with a blown fuse. While you're giving this part of the car your attention right now, you might also want to consider up grading to a premium fluid. KaleCoAuto.com makes the best on the market:

Btw, balanced fluid levels, in general, are very critical in our vehicles. You might also want to consider having cross drilled brake lines installed since they can really add to the life of your discs.

Any model with factory HID headlights, my 2011 citadel does and they move every time you start it. I've also noticed that if I park on a hill they will move a bit and maintain pretty level instead of blasting up into the air, but it takes a second or 2 for them to do it, and it ain't much... First time they did it I was parked in a pretty muddy spot and thought I was sinking!!

If you get in, turn the lights on, then start the car you can watch the cutoff move down then up.
