I bought this Durango 1 year ago this month. I really enjoy this vehicle and never have regretted buying it, even when gas was almost $5 a gallon.

Morning after bringing it home.

Going to remove the badges this week to give it a cleaner look.\

Should have mentioned what I've done to it so far.

JVC Head unit with iPod connector
Blaupunkt component speakers
Custom C.A.I.
Westin Brush Guard
Custom Grill Inserts
Chrome Wheel Skins
Clear Headlights / 5000K Xenon bulbs
Crystal clear corners / Silverstars

Welcome aboard Butch
I'm sure you'll find a lot of useful information here.
I can see by your D that you have already been bitten by the Mod Bug a bit and if you stick around here I'm sure you'll find many more Mods to do

Welcome to the DOC!

You have a very nice Durango there. I like the skins a lot. I've considered them for my stockers. Like the bar, like the lights.

What year?

You can do a relocation bar or a relo cable to get that hood release hidden. It's easy and even with a coat hanger used as the bar, takes about 10 minutes to fab.

Again, welcome!

Welcome! Sharp lookin D you have there. I agree with Indy, hide that hood release. I know I did a writeup on in some time back, real simple to do. Then just get those front windows tinted.

Thanks all

It's a 2001. The night I went to look at & buy a 2006 I saw this out the back window as I was looking over the interior. Very pleased with my choice.

As for the hood release it's already hidden. The one in the pics broke a couple days after I took these.

I have a rope attached to the hood release. It hangs down behind the grill. I pop the hood, reach between the bumper and grill. Pull the cord and release the latch.
