SERIES FINALE

While not the ending I was hoping for, I have reached an acceptable end. The main goal I had with this was a nicer looking dash by not having nothing but a flat screen between a bunch of analog guages. The SRT cluster would've been nice, red gauges and needles, but not absolutely necessary. I was really after the bevel around the speedo screen. I found a '21 instrument cluster, and was able to correct the mileage. It was pretty much plug and play, after Having to change the housing the cluster sits in. I went in Alfa and enabled the performance pages option, which immediately brought up the R/T screen in the cluster. No errors, everything seems to be working. So, I am done. The dash looks a little nicer, and I'm good with it.

Hey sorry to bother you i have a 2018 Dodge Durango R/T so I was gonna buy a 2018 Dodge SRT cluster but I see you said once I use my alpaobd to set VEHICLE IS A SRT it will set all those warning lights off like it does I tried it but without a SRT cluster tho. but my question is what model cluster you went with for the 2021 and now do you have SRT MODE without the warning lights with that cluster and if i get a 2021 cluster can i use my existing housing in my 2018 Dodge Durango R/T? THANKS 😊

I went with the R/T cluster. I feel like the SRT cluster is a lost cause at this point.

Was it plug and play ? and what did you had to do to get it to fit in Your 2018 ?

Almost. I had to swap out the bezel on the front of the gauge cluster cluster because the '21 was different, but that was just a few screws. Adjust the mileage was simple enough with AlfaOBD. That was pretty much it. The R/T menu in the cluster showed up and worked right away.

Hey I found a glitch on my 2018 Dodge Durango R/T to get the SRT MODE and somewhat Performance pages to work without all the warning and ABS lights on for the glitch to work it requires the Tazer and Alpaobd. So with the Alpaobd you wanna enable Performance pages also with Alfaobd you wanna Set the Special Package to WK SRT and don't forget to make sure the all the of drive modes etc are set to yes . Now with the Tazer with the car in the run position go to SRT SET YES then go to full reboot let it finish the process one the full reboot is finished then all of the warning lights will come on and the uconnect will have the SRT MODE in the apps section click it then once the screen on with the drive train is on go back into your Tazer settings and and go back to SRT SET YES and change it to SRT SET NO now turn the car off from run stay in the car open the door but stay in the car then shut the door wait about a minute let everything shut off then once everything is off turn the car back to the run position the Uconnect will still have the SRT MODE and all the warning lights will be out now on SRT MODE press it the drive train screen will come up again but none of the modes won't function yet so once you get there leave that screen on now go back to the Tazer settings go to the SRT SET NO now leave it right there and Start the car once the engine start you will still have the SRT SET NO on the cluster screen now tap it to SRT SET YES You will now have all the modes functioning and no warning lights on the Performance pages takes forever to load I got it to come on twice but it takes way to long load I'm still doing test runs but with all the modes in track the car sounds Super Aggressive and Runs Super Aggressive like it's on Steriods I haven't got no check engine lights or nothing loving it nothing but fun I took pictures and attached them with the process and me driving and with other screens like the oil pressure so you can see it works while engine running with no warning or ABS lights please pass on the Good news to other peoplewho has the R/T Durango now i wonder would the SRT Cluster work with the glitch we need to get someone to test it with that cluster

I have a 2018 SRT cluster and Alfa, but not the Tazer. Honestly, I spent too much time/money trying to get the cluster to work, and I'm not investing in the Tazer on a hope. If anyone is interested in the cluster, I still have it.

I'm curious if you don't mind let me ask you this when you had SRT SET TO YES did the cluster than work ? I already know that you has warning lights on

Yes. When SRT was set to yes, the cluster would work properly (sometimes it would take a bit of driving) but would also have all the warning lights on. SRT to off would disable the digital tach in the center of the cluster, and the warning lights would go away.

Ok thanks for the info I may get 1 and perform the glitch sence it would work. How much are you selling yours for ?
