Was going good for a while.
Issue is when I start the D it dies, restart and dies. But, if I hold the pedal down a little, runs fine, especially after warm up. Now the fuel gauge is also acting up. So I replaced the whole sending unit in tank and it still misreads. Only when I turn off and turn back on will it read correctly. Any idea as to what gives?

Thank you

When was the last time you changed your battery?? Sounds like a "lack" of voltage issue. Ground connections clean?

I'll help carry the motion that electrical grounds should be checked? especially chassis grounds and engine grounds? mostly because you're stating two "odd" electrical concerns.

If it was only the rough start-up concern, I'd suspect possible Throttle Position Sensor (TPS) concerns, sluggish Idle Air Control (IAC) motor concerns, or possibly even a coolant temperature sensor or ambient temperature sensor gone askew.

With both of these concerns together at the same time, however, I'd be very suspicious of electrical grounds? checking them with an Ohmeter isn't usualluy sufficient (only shows state of a ground connection in an "ambient" or unloaded state)? the best way to check any ground connection is by doing a voltage drop test with the engine running as it'll identify areas of high resistance while the circuit is actually trying to do the work it's intended to do.

Here's a link with a good explanation of a voltage drop test: http://www.jfkctec.com/Elect/dmm02/04dmm02.htm

I agree clean off all ground connection locations so at least you ca eliminate that from the equation
Jimbob that's a great article BTW
