Considering removing the mid muffler on my 2017 Durango rt AWD. I previously had the resonators removed and replaced with straight pipes from the mid muffler back but it's still pretty quiet. Would anyone recommend removing the suitcase in the middle or will it ruin the little sound I've been able to get from removing the resonators?

I know this is old and I may not get a response but, I just removed the “suitcase” from my 2019 R/T and while I love the tone of the sound… it is SO quiet still. What’s the cheapest option with the best sound for the resonators out back? Please help.

So I went down the loud exhaust rabbit hole on my Challenger RT. It currently has long tube headers, 3" catback from AWE. From inside the exhaust still sounds too quiet to me but from the outside it is pretty dam loud. Apart from getting cuttouts the current setup I have is about as loud as you can get it without drone.

My suggestion, have someone drive by you with your durgano and listen to it from the outside...the cabin just deadens the sound quite a bit.

I have a couple of Blastin Bobs glasspack resonators available if you want to try those.

$250 plus shipping at my cost by UPS.

Put your resonators back on.
