So, I'm in the market for an SRT Durango, which I found one at a terrific price compared to the others. However, it appears to have 2 silver parts on the pillar/door. But I haven't seen this anywhere else. So has it been a thing and I never knew? Or a mess-up from the factory which resulted in the big deal?

Just looks like the protective paper they put on at the factory for shipping. The dealer forgot to pull it off

My thoughts too.

If it's not, then it should just be stick on chrome pillars. If that is the case someone needs their mouth examined, because they have severe taste issues.

That makes sense. I was thinking it was a mistake but if it can be peeled off then that's fine. I might message the dealer as well to see what they say.

That’s definitely a chrome trim accessory option to dress up the B-pillar. It actually looks sharp on a Citadel, but I’m surprised they put it on a SRT (or RT). I’m sure they were thinking “let’s break up the black a little”. I see what your saying, it would need some other little pieces of chrome somewhere to go with it, otherwise it just kinda looks like it doesn’t belong. I’m sure it could be removed.

Thats the protective film they applied for shipping. Mine had it.
