Waiting on my Tow n Go. Ordered 8-11-20. Started production 10-29-20. Finished build on 11-2-20. Sat in JS Status until 12-2-20. KZ status now and window sticker is available. I hope dealer sees it this week . Long wait !!!

So weird. I was typing a response to your post because I have been waiting as well for my T&G R/T for what seems forever when the dealer called and say she came off the carrier. I’ll post pics as soon as I can.

Mine was delivered to the dealer yesterday. Picking up Saturday morning. I will post a pic when I get one.

The crimp looks to have been on purpose and machine made—not something that happened on accident. Besides, the opposite side is not “damaged” beyond what you see in this photo showing the opposite side of the pipe, leading me to believe it was on purpose. It is a tuned exhaust, maybe one side needed a little more restriction? But who knows for sure, eh?.

They all have that Crimp. My new 2021 RT with the Tow and Go has it. I had a 2018 SRT Durango which had the same looking exhaust with the same crimp as well. The mopar performance exhaust is made by a outside vendor for Mopar from what I have been told and I know that the rear resonators are a lot different on the Mopar Performance Exhaust. The exhaust on the RT Tow and Go is definitely the SRT Tuned Exhaust. It sounds awesome ! When we brought our Durango home 2 weeks ago, our neighbor was outside and said it sounded awesome. That was their first comment !

So how does it sound compared to the SRT? Is the loud exhaust annoying at all when cruising?

Yesterday we took a 220 mile round trip to pick up a new puppy for the family. It was the first time I have driven the Durango Tow n Go for any length of time since it is my wife's daily driver. The ride is great, power is where it needs to be, interior is comfortable, the technology is nice, and the new Uconnect system and the 10.1 screen is very nice. As for exhaust. Perfect sound, quiet while cruising but loud when you get into the throttle. The exhaust sounds perfect in all ways, Idle, cruising and when you are into it. If the exhaust wasn't perfect my wife would not like it and she currently loves it. I can tell you that anyone that hears it is impressed. I have had a DDSRT and it compares to it as far as having the same sound. My Charger Scat Pack was a little louder with the active exhaust it had. I wouldn't change a thing. Videos do not do the exhaust justice.
