I asked my dealer today if I or someone there could drove out and get it and I was told they don't allow that anymore

My salesman said he would mark it as a "hot" vehicle once it arrives at the rail yard whatever that means. See if they have done that for you or will do that for you. Not sure what that means.

They're in shipping mode from the factory, which puts it in a severely limited state, and requires the dealership to get it out of that mode.

Located in Connecticut. Octane red tow n’ go with bench seat, technology and blind spot. While i know that the technology and blind spot have set me back it seems like i have been setback more than most (all?) US deliveries. Had a von and vin since March! Is it possible that a dealer prioritizes based on price/margin?

Yeah that is way long! Could be the color setting you back. Didn’t think that was an issue, but there seems to be some chatter. Not sure how true. Mine is Billet TNG Blktop with red Brembos and pretty much everything but carbon fiber, cargo and engine block heater… I’d get in touch with chat and dealer tomorrow. Hopefully they gave you an estimated ship date. At least you are close by for when it is released. Mine has been on rail for a week now. Post up an update tomorrow.

Seems like most folks I’ve seen posted they had VIN the next day, including myself. This could be the exception though. Id get in touch with your dealer, but I’d definitely plan on it taking 2 months minimum.

Dealer (General manager if you can believe that) just called. Got est ship date of Sep 22!! Ordered 6/15. All in all, can't complain. I believe they've stepped up to the plate. Of course, he ended the call by telling me all this was etched in jello. Can't wait....can I get excited yet?
