Does the TNG even get the suede seats? I thought they were leather until you got to the SRT. I don't know if the SRT interior is added to the TNG. If it is then they really made the TNG to have everything an SRT has but the engine.
The 2023 Stellantis product info document for the Durango makes no mention of seats in the description of the Tow N Go Package.
Standard seats in the R/T are "Shift mesh cloth with Carolina Cloth bolsters".
"Nappa leather with Nappa Axis II perforated inserts and accent stitching in red; includes embroidered “//” logo" are included in the Plus and Premium packages on the R/T.
Whether Dodge actually builds the cars according to the published product info is another matter.
Odd how they 're-grouped' items on the sticker opposed to my 22 TnG....
Class IV Receiver Hitch & Trailer Brake Controller which were in my Tow n Go pkg are now in the 'Plus pkg'
Items that were Standard;
Premium LED Fog Lamps
Heated Second Row Seats
Pwr 8-way Driver Seat with Memory & 8-Way Pass Seat
Power Driver / Passenger 4-Way Lumbar Adjust
LED Aux Low Beam & Turn Signal...
I've been lurking on here for awhile and decided to take the plunge.
On March 13, I ordered a 2023 Durango RT Plus RWD. It's Knuckle White with Vitra Grey interior. No other options since everything is included in the Plus pkg. I'm not a big fan of the blackish wheels (old timer here...lol) and avoided the Blacktop pkg. The middle row buckets were avoided as well. Saves some cash I guess. Since I'm in the south, AWD wasn't necessary for me. I'm looking forward to getting it whenever it shows up. As of this day, it hasn't been scheduled for production per the Dodge website. It's still at the 'Ordered' status. I did receive the VIN and VON the next day.
One thing I'm curious about is the rear cargo cover. I haven't seen it on any of the newer Durangos. I believe it's stated as standard on the spec sheets.
It used to be in the Cargo Plus package that came along with the roof rack, the package net and the retracting cargo cover. If your build has a roof rack you'll probably get those other two pieces, but who knows nowadays as Dodge picks and chooses what "isn't available" now.
New to the forum - I've been wanting a Durango for a while now, and finally ordered one early April. Got my confirmation VIN and POC on 4/10. However, no movement since. I check the Dodge build tracker every day and still says they have no information about my vehicle at this time. Anyone know current build time or when you will first get any notification of progress? I ordered a 2023 Hemi Orange RT AWD, white knuckle with Hemi Orange plus package. I've got my 2020 Infiniti QX60 extended until June 30the but starting to get worried the DD won't be ready in time. Any help would be appreciated on when to expect my first alert and where progress will be at that time, or current build times for these cars. Thank you!
I did get a POC on 4/10 with the VIN. When I plug the info into the Dodge tracker, this is the message I get -
"There’s currently no information about your vehicle available. Please check again later."
I wouldn't care about waiting, but I only have my current car until 6/30, so if the Durango isn't ready in time, then I've got a problem to deal with.
Thought I was giving myself enough time but maybe not? I was told 6-10 weeks for custom order.
Just wanted to see what others who ordered around the same time were experiencing to see if it's normal to see no updates still.
Just joined, and just ordered today, R/T Plus in triple nickel, tow and go, blacktop package and vitra grey seats. Following along to see how order times are going.
Ordered a 2023 DD GT Plus, V6 AWD. No other options except paint color, includes everything I wanted and then some. Color: Oxide Red with black leather interior (with the red stitching...not a fan but no other color offered with black leather). Only unclear thing is whether it includes a roof rack or not...I don't care but would be nice to know. (Looking at stickers for other DDs, it appears Plus includes a black roof rack). Order confirmed on May 22 with VIN and VON. My existing vehicle is a 2016 DD SXT Plus with Katzkin leather and tow.
You are moving fast, mine took weeks before it was 'scheduled'. I believe it means they have ordered and begun assembling parts for your vehicle and you are in the 'queue'. You are making good progress so far relative to recent orders.
It's usually pretty quick for the order to be confirmed, I ordered on 5/30, got confirmed 5/31.
From there, it went to Scheduled on 6/13, In Production 7/9, Built 7/12, now it's just sitting there waiting be shipped to the dealer.
Mine didn't show for full 24 hrs so emailed the sales rep. He didn't put the order through until next day. I got an email the following day.
From what I understand, VIN is assigned when the order enters "in production" stage.
