ive heard nightmares about cars waiting in shipping lots for like almost 2 months

 

You guys crack me up covering up VINs, order numbers and dealer names. You're not protecting anything by doing that.

 

I block out dealer info..the dealer didn't pay us to promote so no promote for them 😂😂😂

Haha no.. that never even crossed my mind..
for instance. My dealer (like most right now) isn't honoring affiliate pricing, but i know the sales guy and GM, so for me, they are honoring it.. i dont want them exposed to have to others who might think they are honoring it.. you got any more guesses ?

dealer told me estimated delivery date of 01/31. I very highly doubt that.

 

I received an email from Dodge Customer service telling me that my 22 DDSRT has shipped or is awaiting shipment. I am thinking it is about a month out from the dealer getting delivery then I think it will take them a week to contact me to let me know our DD has arrived. So it looks to be mid-February at this point.

So I just noticed something on my build sheet. When I was at the dealer I could of sworn I picked the regular black leather/suede seats as the black and red were not an option with octane red exterior. Well I was just checking on my build sheet and stuff and noticed I have high perf laguna leather with demonic/red underneath….I’m so confused what seats I’m getting now. There is no price next to the build sheet totals next to each option so idk. I mean this would be great as I would LOVE the black and red. Would of picked it if I could have.

SO mine came... yesterdsay.. but.. cant buy it.. there are ZERO incentives.. payment is 300 bucks higher a month than a 22.. really sucks.. but, they have a 22 Hemi Orange in the same exact color.. i am prob just grabbing that for now.. see if in a year I can get what I want at the end of the year.

 

i'd say if its got the exact same options you wanted, go for the 22.. theres a 3500 incentive + 1000 bonus coupon +750 if financed/approved with chrysler capital

13k in incentives on 22? wow i was only able to get 5250 in incentives and 8% off msrp were dealership discount

Hey thats not a bad trade the hemi orange is fire with a destroyer grey.
im suprised that its cheaper to get the orange durango? is that because yours is a 23 with no incentives and the orange does have them?
if they would wait 2.5 months for you then i would just wait and put a deposit down on it.

also $900 A MONTH FOR A RT LEASE?! yikes no wonder you said no lol. do you have money to put down at all? dont know if that would lower it much though espeically as with leasing money down just lowers the payment doesnt take money off residual.

they ran 22 incentives figuring it would take more than 4 weeks to arrive. I didnt know that.. not a big deal.. the 23 program isnt out yet. I could wait till feb and get it then but if it dont come out then either id have to wait till march and theyd have to sit on it for almost 2.5 months and I dont want them to have to do that, even though they may end up sitting on it that long anyway..no ones leasing an RT for 900 a month. which is the lowest we got it down to without down money

 

Was the first one TNG and is TNG on the striped one? Otherwise it's just an RT with stitching, stripes and orange brakes.

 

first one is TNG, second is not.. and it doesnt even come with orange brakes unless you get the hemi orange with towngo..

 

Yeah, I wouldn't spend the 5 grand just for a short stripe and orange stitching.

 

The orange comes with that free.

Its The towNgo orange has the orange brakes, 20x10 wheels and the active dampening suspension and srt exhaust. The orange is a gimmick. It comes with stupid shit like a suede headliner and carbon fiber accents.

Around here I saw a new '22 SRT that had a dealer markup of $15K, advertised as market adjustment. We'll see if any sucker even buys it.

My delivery date was updated today it was changed from 01/21/23 to 01/29/23. The funny thing is that Koon's has my DDSRT for sale on their Website. I guess this is common from what I have gathered about Koon's.

 

A Destroyer Grey SRT pops up on their website but that one looks like it is already on site at the dealership.....

 

Another update from Koon's tonight, our DDSRT is in fact delivered. Now comes crunch time to see if we can put a deal together.

So another thing to be mad about... No spare tire, I downloaded my build sheet and there it was, Spare Tire deleted. Due to supplier constraints to spare tire was discontinued during June production. I ordered the tow package on my SRT and you cannot tow with a run flat so you will still need a spare. Modern Spare has one for our SRT's for $395.00. I am going to ask the dealer prior to closing to discount my invoice $395.00 to cover the cost of the spare.

 

supplier constraints are real across brands..lots of little substitutions and work arounds..

 

Not sure I understand what you mean by, "you cannot tow with a run flat" . . . all the Durango Hellcats come with Run Flat tires, and have an 8700lb tow capacity . . . and I've towed a car on a trailer at 70MPH average for 250 miles before with my DDHC . . .
