thats what people who dont understand leasing say. let me know when you can have a 70k car, and pay 550-575 a month with ZERO money out of pocket. and do it all over again with literally whatever I want, whenever I want it. (minus srt)

 

I finally took delivery of my 2022 SRT… new from the dealer it has 80 miles on it. Of course I asked WTF? They told me it arrived from Dodge with 46 miles on it, and that during their pre sales diagnostic checks they put an additional 30-ish miles on it, and that they are required to do so.
I haven’t bought a new car in a few years, but my last one (or really the last few) only had 10 miles on it.
Anyone experience anything like this? I’m ready to call Dodge and ask them WTF?

Picked up my ‘21 SRT with 12kms on it…..

 

My '21 SRT had 4 miles on it when I took delivery.

 

My '14 GC had 4 miles on it when delivered.
My '23 GC had about 40 miles on it, but it had been sent to a body vendor for the 'mopar finishing package' .. and the (huge) dealer's prep center is some miles from the actual dealership.

 

Its getting there... just another few more weeks

 

Any reason why it takes 20 days for the build to happen? They are actually built in one shift most days.

 

So after 8 months my 22 Durango SRT has finally started production. In the meantime, I had the opportunity to buy a 2021 Dodge Challenger Super Stock with 2139 miles on it and we traded our 2019 Charger Hellcat and 2012 Jeep SRT to make it happen. We are really torn on if we want to trade our paid-off 2021 Jeep Compass to get the DDSRT now. We have over a month (or two) to mull things over so we have some time. Just so pissed that it is going to take 10 months to get the DDSRT. I will be a model-year-old when it hits the dealer. Plus we will need to finance at least 40% of the purchase price at these new higher interest rates. My only downside is losing our deposit. a lot to think about in the next month or so...

 

It took a year and 2 weeks to get mine. Glad i stuck it out, just love driving this thing!

 

ordered my 2023 in october and in D status still since a week after the order. I hope i dont have to wait 8-12 months

 

By some miracle, my 23 updated to d1 status, and shows a delivery estimate of 12/14. Not sure how this is possible...

mine took 3 weeks to get to D status with a VIN but its finally there.. RTT&G

dude so jealous. maybe its the difference between an RT and an SRT? congrats regardless though! before i decided to make the jump to srt i was thinking of doing an RT with that vita grey interior. looks nice

 

I did the rt with the tow and go, which from what i was told, are built with the SRTs because, aside from the engine, Its the same car with the same things.. thats why i dont think its right..

Oh yea. I have a 2022 laramie 1500. And actually had a 2021 durango RT. It was still very fun to drive. Im just jealous, i wanted an srt lol

My 2022 went into production on 11/23 and shows completed on 12/28 and shipped on 12/30. If this is true then they were building 2022's and 2023's at the same time on the assembly line? I know at Brampton ( Challenger/Charger/300) they had a hard stop date for the 2022's and then started building 2023's the next day? I am also curious as to how close I will be to getting one of the last 2022 SRT's ever built?
