Awesome project, like how much detail you put into each step. I'm sure you can't wait to get the time to put it together now!

What headers did you buy?

I ordered this transmission pan today. Will get here Wednesday.

The Mopar transmission temp gauge has the sensor that screws into side of the pan. I would have to weld a bung fitting to it.

This pan is not only a deeper one, it also has the bung fitting welded to it already as well as a magnetic drain plug.

Holds three extra quarts.

I haven't gotten it to the dyno yet. Hopefully Friday.

But when take take off, even when I floor it, it takes off exactly like a new muscle car with the anti-skid setting.

It's real slow on take off, but once it gets going, it'll move.

Even on wet pavement I can't spin the tires.

The guy doing the dyno is tuning it. He is the top notch guy around here.

Got to thinking, might as well let the guy doing the dyno do the tune.

As opposed to getting some dyno numbers, then sending them to Hemi Fever and letting him write a tune.

Tuning while on Dyno should be better, then they can tweak it while looking at the numbers.

It's down the street now getting the AC done. Plus he is going to price me new injectors in the 19 to 21 pound range.

We believe that is causing the bogging on take off.

Factory were listed as 19lb. for 98/99. but 24lb. will work without any problem, and allow for more aggressive fuel mapping if needed.

I'm now thinking I need to get rid of the O2 Sim I have ran since 2009.

Since this motor is no longer stock, the computer is most likely trying to set the stock injectors, based on the stock reading the Sim is telling the computer.

So since the new motor is a HO modified 360 now the computer is NOT getting the correct O2 sensor readings to adjust the injectors.

Hence the bogging on tack off and hard acceleration.

Does this all make sense?

O'Rielly's carry the Bosch O2 Sensor. That would work right?

Ok, just installed my custom tune from HemiFever.

So now back to the Dyno this week.

Question though, when I was running the Superchips Tune, I could set the speedo to match the tires and get a correct MPH reading.

Sean can't do a tune that corrects it, so what are my options?

I do quite lots of tuning, but never on the D, not sure it is even possible with its computer. So I may learn some from this too.

Are U using tunerpro to make the chages to the prom calibration? Or can you use your scan tool to change the SA, VE, AE tables, … and flash in the changes in to the D's computer?

Bogging on WOT take off is usually caused by too much fuel.

Also during hard acceleration and WOT the O2 sensor readings are usually not used to control the fueling, engine usually runs from pre-programmed tables in the memcal.

It was all figured out during and after the dyno run. With it still being stock, it was throwing everything off. Now that the custom Hemifever tune is on, it runs like a champ.

I'm headed back to the dyno next week to do another run and see if I need to have the tune tweaked by Sean.
