I've been very happy with Continental Cross Contact LX20 tires. Great traction in all conditions (well, at least what we get here in Upstate SC - dry, rain, light snow a couple times a year), very long wearing, good ride & handling. Good looking tread pattern & sidewall profile (I like the OWL, but you can go blackwall). My favorite all-around all-season SUV tire in the last few years. On my 2nd set on wife's Grand Cherokee - 1st set went pretty near to the warranted mileage which is quite good these days!

I don't know how you guys get so many miles out of your tires. I must be unusually hard on them. My OEMS barely made it to 20k, now my third set (pirelli scorpions) are wearing at 60k on the vehicle. they wont make it to winter. I plan on getting 20' snow tires and worry about another all-season set next spring.

There are a lot of variables...road conditions, temps, driving style, AWD vs 2WD, tire pressures, alignment, towing or not, Highway vs city streets, ect.
Then there are those that will run tires down to the wear bars and even until the steel belts are showing!
So don't worry if you don't get the same mileage, just make sure tires are at proper air pressures and car is aligned properly.
