My original estimated ship date was 1-26; that changed a couple of weeks ago to 2-8, and as of yesterday, my dealer texted me to let me know that it has again changed, this time to 2-22 . . . I'm beginning to wonder if they're even going to build these things at all . . .

Maybe more trucks have fallen off the assembly line......

 

Thankfully mine made it safely through the factory obstacle course.

Picked her up today after I had them swap the grey skid plate and emblems to black.

Should hold me till the DDHC gets here.

Me? 3/8 estimated ship date and I ordered within that first week. (after striking out at a few places, found a great place, awesome communication so far, hopefully all goes well when it comes in)

build is Blind spot/xpath, Premium Interior, Tow, 2nd row console, HK, 3 seasons (and i do plan on adding mopar evts)

 

status JS - shipping to storage - 2/25 ship date

I submitted an order for a Durango SRT Hellcat the day after the order books opened. I have a VIN assigned, but the order is still in "BG" status. Now that production has started, I'm still in "BG" status. Stellantis and my dealer both seem to not be able to tell me much more than that -- any idea what that means? If a VIN was assigned, does that mean the car will EVENTUALLY be built? I don't mind waiting, but want this car in my life.

He said it is being built on 3/18....

 

He probably said that it was being built on 3-18, but that information is not available within the dealership's system . . . only the Status Code and the Estimated Ship Date . . . the factory doesn't give out specific build dates . . .

 

Looks like we should expect April deliveries then.

If he gave you a date from the system it is the estimated ship date . . . if he told you that will be the build date, he's wrong

I was told by my contact at the dealership that they are going to be built by color so that they can run all of each color ordered at one time through the paint shop. Not sure how much truth there is to this.

 

So how do they pick which color goes first?
Is it alphabetical order? If that's the case, all of you that ordered Vice White will be waiting a little longer...

Just got an update from my dealer:
Status - F: Paint
Estimated Ship Date - 2/20

 

There is no way it will ship today, if it's in paint today . . . the paint itself has to cure enough to go down the assembly line, and that takes 24-48 hours . . .

 

Just noticed that they increased the price of two options that I ordered.
Black Package
Was: $1,495
Now: $1,845

Harman Kardon
Was: $995
Now: $1,085

 

For the Hellcat? What difference does that make if ordering is closed?

 

Just got updated to G - Trim. Same ship date of 2/20.
