Did Dodge officially kill it off?
Understood. Start stockpiling NOW. Nowhere is it written that the American way of life after the industrial revolution can or will go on forever. And it's pretty clear to me that there will be some huge changes during the balance of my lifetime.I will skip the electric and hydrogen. Just want to be rocking 5.7L and/or 6.4L HEMIs for the rest of my life. That's why I need to load up on them now while I still can.
Not to mention the question of where all the electricity is going to come from to charge all these EV's? Wind and solar simply can't provide enough. They can't even keep all the air conditioners running without rolling brown outs. After the first electric cars came out years ago I wondered, and doubted, if the car industry would ever move to all electric. I still doubt it as commercial vehicles are too numerous to switch over. I also don't believe that the fossil fuel lobby will allow that to happen in less than 50 years from now. I am shocked at how willing the manufacturers have been to switching to electric. They only do things to make money so there is money in it for them, it's just a question of where that money is coming from. It does look like the percentage of electric cars to total cars sold will be climbing each year so we will definitely see a major change in the next 5 years, just because of Kalifornia alone. They will have a lot of charging stations to install if Kali expects people to continue their 2 hour commutes in their horrendous traffic. I wonder who's going to pay for those?
I would like to know how much someones electric bill went up once they started charging the EV?Not to mention the question of where all the electricity is going to come from to charge all these EV's?
