Wondering what the typical wait time from order to delivery is. Anyone have any experience? Dealer is saying 8 weeks, my current lease is literally done in exactly 8 weeks...so I'm hoping it's a little quicker.

4/1 is when the factory received the order. My dealer dropped the ball on a deal we had in place for a dealer transfer. They in return asked their Chrysler rep to expedite the build.
I'm not a big fan of promoting another website, but the JG order tracking is really top notch.. I don't know of any other way other than working for dealer to get that level of information.
They aren't really Durango fans, but there are some good folks over there.. and a lot of folk here are there as well..
For pure Durango stuff, this is by far the better forum..
According to the Jeep Forum my new D hit KZ status today with an ETA of 5/16 - 5/22. My son will likely be a few days to a couple of weeks old by then but I'll have to leave to take a 5 hour train ride to pickup then drive home his new chariot. Exciting times!!
Arrived at the dealership yesterday. Waiting for them to install the tow package, tint the side windows and add some fender stripes. I'm hoping to take delivery on Saturday.
Well back in line for me. Walked away after dealer failed to order the tow package from the factory, did a dealer install and still wanted to charge me the full amount. Walked away. Now I am going to their biggest competitor and seeing about a dealer transfer or ordering a new one. At any rate this owning a Durango is becoming a bit of a process. At least I know the time frame now.
When I ordered mine, I sat with the salesguy as he clicked the boxes on his laptop.. and walked out with a "Configuration Preview" in my hands to mull over..
This is what he saved, and when we did the paperwork is what he ordered. A week later, he emailed me the "Priced Order Confirmation" to make sure I was gonna get what I wanted.
I'm guessing a lot of dealers don't do a lot of orders..
I guess it may be that my dealer is in a somewhat-rural area, and getting stuck with a vehicle they don't want would be a big hit to their inventory costs..
Or it may be that my dealer understands that when someone orders a vehicle THAT IS THE VEHICLE THEY WANT..
In either case, my dealer tries to avoid an unhappy customer.. but a lot of dealers don't care about that little detail..
The only thing that makes me ok with waiting is thinking maybe they'll have all these TSB's done before I get it! I'd rather not deal with a leaking oil pan! My RAM hasn't been back to the dealer in the three years I've owned it. I'd like to have the same with the D.
Thanks L-Dub!! Everything went great!!--I'm watching my lil guy sleep as we speak and wondering what I did to deserve him. My way of paying him back is taking the train to San Diego to pick up his New Storm Trooper Chariot on Saturday if all goes well!! Exciting month!! Just still hoping that rebate comes in the mail in the next couple of days haha.
I wish I knew... Still waiting... Order STILL shows as "received" and it's going on 2 months now. I seriously hate how long it takes to get a vehicle through Enterprise Lease, but hey... First world problem! I really shouldn't complain...
Our order took about 2 months from order to shipped. I was happy with that, as I expected much longer!
