Wondering what the typical wait time from order to delivery is. Anyone have any experience? Dealer is saying 8 weeks, my current lease is literally done in exactly 8 weeks...so I'm hoping it's a little quicker.
I've read 2 months. That'd be the quickest I'd ever gotten a new vehicle.
Yours was quick, congrats.I ordered a Durango on 3/1.
It went to gate line (e.g. production scheduled) status on 3/3
Assembly and inspection were finished on 3/19.
Vehicle was delivered to the dealer on 3/30.
So yeah, 4-8 weeks is probably a good bet.
Often (from what I've heard over the years), early in the model year they tend to run the assembly line a little slower (extra QC checks or what-not), and things get a bit more "ramped-up" as they go along...so maybe things are speeding up a little now (extra QC checks would still be welcome though :-?)Wow, that's seriously fast!! Makes me believe they're not back logged at all so the time from order to built is shorter than say ordering an Explorer or something more common.

When I ordered my '13 RAM, the workers were being a$$ hats and were purposely sabotaging the vehicles because they somehow believe that helped their cause. I guess they didn't like the new work schedule. UGH!! So, my truck sat in a lot outside in the Detroit area for 3 MONTHS while it waited for a detailed inspection. I had to wash it twice, and clay it twice to get all the acid rain and contamination off of it. To say I was pissed is an understatement. I hope the Durango comes a LITTLE cleaner than the RAM came.Often (from what I've heard over the years), early in the model year they tend to run the assembly line a little slower (extra QC checks or what-not), and things get a bit more "ramped-up" as they go along...so maybe things are speeding up a little now (extra QC checks would still be welcome though :-?)

+1. I've done in now for two vehicles. We ordered our Durango on 2/11, it was built on 3/7 and it should be here this week. However it looks like the average wait time is 6 weeks.
I highly suggest you sign up for a premium membership on the jeep garage forum. You can give them your VON or VIN number and they will track it for you until it's delivered. My information has been more up to date than what the dealer even had.
Will do....that's the $4.98 membership that gets me into the "VIP area"?We ordered our Durango on 2/11, it was built on 3/7 and it should be here this week. However it looks like the average wait time is 6 weeks.

The minumum for access to the tracking forum is level III for $25 but do the level IV membership for $30. It gets you tracking and the detailed build sheets. It's worth it for the level of tracking you get. Will do....that's the $4.98 membership that gets me into the "VIP area"?
