The rams have different intakes. The engine is the same so if you reuse your intake and external parts then you can do it !

 

Thanks Vice! I'm glad to hear that. It seems like there is a lot of the truck engines around. Hopefully one of them is decent. Their website does not give much detail and it looks like both of them have front end damage. Do you happen to know what other years for the trucks are compatible they have a few other 5.7s but not the same year.

 

Have you looked at mopar giants or other online mopar parts sites? They usually list the years and models of other vehicles parts are used on. The biggest thing to look out for on 5.7s is the crank reluctor.

Good call on mopar giant it lists 2010-2012 Durango, Grand Cherokee, Commander, 300, Charger and Challenger as compatible.

 

Be aware with the waterpump. The version for RAM or Grand Cherokee is a bit different due a missing pipe or pipe connection for the oilcooler.
Or so somehow. I havent understand the details, when my mechanic told me, that I've ordered the wrong one.
